Telephone Audio Interface

[1x USB-C] My first Audio Interface. I use these to connect 2 KRK Rokit 5 G4 studio monitors XLR to 1/4 into to MOTU. I can also connect my previous monitors through the RCA connection which other interfaces at this price do not have. These also have MIDI connectors which I guess you can connect an MPC or other sampler. I can also connect my keyboard and a mic through the 2 front interfaces. Most connection options for any audio interface at this price. The interface connects to and is powered by your computer through the USB. It does not include any audio cables. If you just need to connect your monitors to your pc or laptop, this is more that sufficient.

[0.575 lb] I needed to do a telephone audio recording while on location with one of my customers and this offered a very good and simple solution. The only problem - and it was NOT caused by the THAT-2 - was that I had a hum using AC power to my Marantz 670 recorder even with an inline isolation device so I ran on battery power and had very little noise and what was left was easily filtered out in Soundtrack Pro. I've had fluctuating voltage problems at this site when shooting video there so the hum was no surprise. The Handset/Line In selector can function as a mute button on the recorder end and this was a very important feature for me. THAT-2 is a VERY useful addition to my audio equipment.

[3.255 lb] This audio interface replaced my Universal Audio Volt 2, which was a great interface, but I wanted a little more. This along with the bundled software and plug-ins has been a game changer for me. Once I get a little more comfortable with the UA experience, I'll likely be stepping up to an Apollo Twin.

[1, DB9] I had been using a USB audio interface to feed my M-Audio monitor speakers from my Mac. I rarely used the jnput functionality (XLR inputs for mics, etc.). It then stopped working - would not stay connected. After trying everything I could think of (cables, usb ports on my computer, ...) I figured I needed a new device and looked for an output only device. I found this one. It's rock solid and delivers great sound. It does this one thing and does it well. Plus, I like that it draws power from the USB cable, so no extra power cable is required. I've not tried it with headphones, but for some, it may be a problem that there's no separate volume control for the headphone output.

[0.32 lb] Perfect alternative to an expensive audio interface for a simple connection with modern hardware and software and (very) legacy instruments. Apple stopped supporting my M-Audio FireWire interface, so this was a blessing. Took me a little poking around to find where in macOS Mojave to set it up, which is in Applications | Utilities | Audio MIDI Setup (screenshots included). Been using it with Apple Logic Pro X and Avid Sibelius to input notes for scoring and arranging.
