Also, when swinging a boom pole in scene, there is a great chance for wind noise to affect the mic while the boom pole is in motion. The MZW-8000 effectively eliminates those issues. I do find I need to add a small dab of Joe’s Sticky Stuff on the barrel of the mic to ensure the wind screen never slips off the barrel of the mic… in theory, the diameter opening of the foam wind screen could be minutely smaller to form a more tight fit on the chassis of the mic.
