[USB-B] This is my first dye sub printer after using many inkjet printers and was bought in furtherance of an event photo business. Right out of the box it delivers gorgeous prints. I've used the 4x6 and 5x7 media with no problems at all. Loading the printer is quick & easy. It took a bit of fiddling around in LR to get the orientation and borderless setting just right but then it's very easy to output great looking prints with either glossy or a satin finish. Customers are amazed at both the quality AND the speed that the prints are made.

[Roll] I purchased this DYE SUB printer. It is awesome. It's the first Dye Sub printer I own but I'm very impressed with the quality prints. Also you can choose what finish goes on the print, Glossy, Luster, Matte etc. I did a large order of 500 prints my first time around and everything went incredible. It has a cutter and installation of ribbon and roll is super simple. I immediately fell in love with this printer. Thinking of getting one that prints 5x7's this one can print them but it has 1/2 inch border on each sides you need to cut the sides. Overall i got it for 8x10's and it's done an amazing job so far.

[1 Roll] This is the third dye sublimation printer I own and the media is always great that accompanies it.

[Magenta] Love my primera products. I own a Primera Ip60 and have nothing but wonderful experiences. To those coming from dye sub printers (I multiple as well) this IP60 printer is versatile. It's super light compared to my due subs and provides stellar pictures. The ink has never been an issue, but is dependant on how colorful your template designs are. Printer is new, it prints in various sizes 2x6, 4x6, 6x6, and 6x20 panoramic is what I have used the most. The convinice of having single prints on strips saves money. This is a great product. Word of advise, unlike dye sub printers, you do not need to remove the ink before transport. Leave it in the unit or purchase a garage to keep it from drying out. Inks is vibrant and awesome... No complaints. Glad I jumped on this printer for my mirror and iPad based photo booths.

[25 lb / 11.3 kg] With recent increases in prices for holiday cards, why not buy a dye sub printer with a mere 2 year payback period instead? 5x7 prints fit nicely in an envelope and now I can print out all my vacation photos on a whim. Media prices for this printer put it on a par with ordering out for prints, but with the difference you can spot errors and fix them immediately.

[Yes] It is excellent. I print on an Epson 1430 printer with dye inks and the surface appear almost identical to the more expensive Epson Ultra Premium Luster paper. I will use the Premium paper regularly in the future

[0.58 lb] I use this printer for event photography. It is my 1st 8 X 10 printer. I have always liked the dye printers because the photos are durable and come out of the printer dry. I have used the Canon 4 X 6 printers and the DS80 is much faster. I was hesitant to pay so much for a printer but the speed and convenience of not having to change ink or load paper so often makes it all worth while. Also as I increase in the number of events and the number of prints the faster speed means more revenue. It is also a very well constructed printer that I hope will last. The only negative is the weight of the printer. It is heavy and has forced me to use a cart to move my equipment to the shoot site.

[6.9 x 4.6 x 2"] The Canon Selphy is the best inexpensive dye sup printer for general use. The packages are almost idiot proof and this product is no different. It was great fun to get almost instant prints for family and friends over the holidays

[60 x Sheet] The HiTi dye sublimation printer produces professional-looking prints, as long as you carefully match the colors on the screen to the printer output (that is not particularly easy with the current Windows software, but that's a printer issue, not a paper issue). The paper and dye cartridge are proprietary, so you must use HiTi's correct paper and cartridge with their printer. The cost is reasonable.

[Cassette] This is a great dye sublimation printer, easy to get started. I use the USB connection only. Very nice quality of the print, I didn't notice any issues. Perfect for ID and passport photos, very small printing volume for up to 4 x 6. This model came with paper and ink package for 108 prints. Some models come with only demo paper - it's only 5 prints. If you have a need for this type of print/printer, this is a good one.
