[Passive] I've got a pair of these adapters connected to a Thunderbolt hub, and they've been completely reliable.

[3.33 lb] This is a stable, powerful hub the accommodates everything I attach to my MckBook with one Thunderbolt chord. Love it!

[USB-C Male] This cable makes super-fast data transfers. I hooked it up to my Xcellon M2NS USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 M.2 SSD Enclosure and was very impressed with the speeds it provided. This cable and an M.2 drive are a match made in heaven and give blazing speeds. It also rated for 8k or dual 4k monitor support which is fantastic. Another nice plus is it is rated to handle 240w power delivery so it can be used to charge or power most accessories (laptops, peripherals etc.). This cable is definitely future proof and ready for whatever you throw at it, including the ability to daisy chain up to 6 additional devices. It is designed to work with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, and USB-C so it is very versatile. The build quality is also fantastic. Cable feels great and is flexible but still sturdy. Connectors seem to be made of quality materials and should last a long, long time. This cable is great. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

[ATX] Looks great, the only board I could buy with both optical and 2 thunderbolt ports while still having a full complement of m.2. There were some reviews stating instability, but that was not my experience at all. It has been rock stable, and I have been keeping it running 24/7.

[16 oz (435 g)] I needed a powered Thunderbolt hub for my M1 Mac Mini. This one fit the space I had and seemed perfect. I have three 2TB SSDs in my recording setup. They're not Thunderbolt, but USB-3, Gen 2. They ran fine through an unpowered USB-C hub, but this hub seems at least twice as fast. Instruments that took up to a minute load in Kontakt now load in a few seconds. No stutters or other issues so far. Hopefully it will last a long time. The overall size is perfect, but the design should have been thought through a little better. I wish the power supply port and main port were on one of the ends though. Having everything on one side would have been even better. It's intrusive in it's current location and cables stick out from both sides making it a little cumbersome to setup. Those are minor issues though since it has greatly improved my workflow.

[7200 rpm] Beware, you will get a limited throughput on USB-C 3.1 bus with Apple Silicon (M1) limited to only to 5 Gb/s. So, my Samsung SSD can't achieve full speed benchmark. I've tested on last generation Intel Macbook Pro and it shows 10 Gb/s as expected. Workaround for M1 Macs: connect enclosure to Thunderbolt hub that connected to your Mac thunderbolt port. Besides this everything else works as expected so far. Speed test attached: Raid 1 using 2x Samsung 2TB 870 EVO, connected to M1 Ultra Mac Studio (speed is limited to 5Gb/s), APFS not encrypted. Meanwhile, I was getting ~530 MB/s read/write via Thunderbolt 4 hub with the same configuration

[6.62 lb] Thunderbolt 3 and 4 are both 40 Gbps connections. Thunderbolt 4 is designed so that the hub supports one 10 GBPs PCIe (which is all the USB and other ports), and up to 3 downstream Thunderbolt ports, sharing the remaining 30 GBPs. If you want to attach ultra-fast SSD storage, this technology tops out at 10 GBPs for the storage, and a Thunderbolt 3 hub would be better. The two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs can support up to 30 GBPs of video, but you’ll quickly run out of bandwidth with multiple 4K or 5K displays. This is why some people complain about driving 3 external displays (or even two!). The 40 Gbps total of a single Thunderbolt connection from your computer can’t necessarily support it. On the plus side, if you have reasonable expectations, this hub or a Thunderbolt 3 hub will deliver outstanding single-cable connectivity between your laptop and all your devices.

[Yes] I recently bought a new Mac Mini with the M1 chip. It only has two Thunderbolt /USB 4 ports. I needed more ports to support my external Thunderbolt disk chain, a second monitor, an external USB hub, and a dedicated port for my Primera Disc Publisher. With some additional work and compromise, I could actually get what I needed with only the two ports on the Mac, but it would require running some of the Thunderbolt discs off the USB hub. Some discs use USB 3 can be plugged into the USB hub but I wanted to have separate connections for the USB hub, the Thunderbolt disc chain, and the second monitor. I connected everything as I needed for my configuration and this hub worked perfectly: the discs on the the Thunderbolt disc chain worked, the devices plugged into the USB hub all worked, and the second monitor worked, all without any problems. I did not try charging anything but the power supply provides up to 5 amps at 20 volts DC. Based on my experience I would recommend this device to anyone needing additional Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports.

[2.095 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thunderbolt core hub is a great accessory to have everything connected to my laptop! It feels very durable; has enough spots for me to connect all to my computer so I do not have to use multiple devices! So far it has been compatible with everything I have used with it. It is small and easy to take on business trips.
