Bought this to connect a large Universal Audio rig to my new Windows DAW Workstation. Two 8 core UA Satelites, 2 Apollo 8p's, and and Apollo Twin mkii Quad, all Thunderbolt 2. Simply connected this to my workstation and the end of the Thunderbolt 2 chain to this and everything worked well. 5 |

[2.6 lb] This thing is great. It has a plethora of ports as well as some that many thunderbolt 3 docks don’t have (optical audio). It’s easy to setup, looks great on the desk, convenient ports on the front and keeps the MBP charged up. I’ve used a few other thunderbolt 3 docks and this one is hands down the best one yet. 5 |

[Desktop] I upgraded from a external 2GB 7,200 RPM Thunderbolt HDD. I'm using it for sample library and audio file (not usually more than 24 per session) for Pro Tools. Scrolling through presets on NI and Spectrasonics is WAY faster. And it's bus powered! So grab it from the desktop and I have a mobile rig that I can even us on the plane. 5 |
