Top Light Bulb Security Camera

[1900] It's a light bulb.

[19.8 lb] The light box is constructed well with a metal frame and good quality plexiglass top. The fluorescent bulb is the only downside. Like most fluorescents, the bulb makes a buzzing noise which can grow tiresome after some time. Otherwise, the color temperature is daylight balanced as advertised, but the tint skews somewhat towards the greener spectrum. Overall, this is a really nice product for the money, and I would buy it again.

[2000 Hours] It works as a light bulb should

[Camouflage] Nice security boxes but you can reach in the top and pull the Link Micro camera right out. The entire top is open and the Link Micro will just come right out. Welded a narrow piece of metal to the top to keep someone from stealing it. The security box is too big for the Link Micro but with a little padding you can keep it in place. The info on the website says it will fit “Link” cameras but perhaps they didn’t mean “Link Micro” cameras.

[5 lb] This shelf will not let you down. I wish the top shelf had the same construction and surface, but I wish it had a lip for real security.,

[GX16d] This incandescent bulb is very bright and fit into our studio light with no problem. Bulb was packaged extremely well and arrived intact quickly. Great job B&H!

[0.01 to 30 Sec] If you're comfortable with speedlights and off-camera flash, prepare to be amazed. This is a seriously capable light source, especially with the bare bulb flash head. I recently used it as a key light in a 4-hr studio session and didn't come close to draining the battery (we did have several costume change breaks, but still). If the results I've achieved so far continue, I'll order a couple more. The speedlight head can light up a group of people from across an open field and the bare bulb fills my modifiers in a way that typical speedlights just can't. This is such a powerful light for how portable it is, and I can't believe it took me this long to try one out. The case is a nice, high-quality addition, but as soon as I have a few more I'll build out a new and improved field kit. Highly recommend.
