Touch Screen Laptop I7 12Th Generation

[2.15 lb] I wanted a PC with an eight-generation I7 desktop CPU, not a slower laptop U-series chip, with plenty of ports including modern ones. This is the only box I could find other than farm more expensive gaming machines. Although there are a few negative reviews on A****, the NUC817HNK is perfect for me. It's powerful and up-to-date without being subject to the laptop "tax." I'm using it with Crucial CT2K16G4SFD824A DDR4 SO-DIMMs and a Samsung MZ-N6E1T0BW 860EVO M.2 SSD.

[16 GB] This is the 13th generation i7 processor. The very latest one. The laptop seems to be built very well especially considering that this is a 2 in 1. So it will need really good hinges as it switches back and forth between a tablet and a laptop. It does not come with a digital pen. So I bought one separately. Overall, it seems like a solid laptop worth the money. Combine it with the 3 year warranty and you are golden for at least 3 years. It does not have a fingerprint reader, but that is not that important for me as you can always use the face biometrics to sign in. Overall, good value for money in my opinion. I hope that it stays good for a few years. My previous HP laptops have all been good. So I think that this one should as well.

[IPS-Type LCD] It's a slim leightweight laptop with smooth touch screen. I like it and would recommended it for graduate students.

[1.14 lb] Use it for Windows 8 on old laptop and desktops. It has the same function on touch pad instead of screen. Allow touch screen functions away from computer when you lean back on couch. Nothing negative for comment. Great price! Would like to have backlite keyboard with solar panel.

[6] This Trackball Mouse has really upgraded my ability to use my laptop. I find that it is far easier to employ the Trackball Mouse with one hand to manage my laptop's screen than the combination of a touch screen and touch pad. I only selected the white model because it put me over the minimum required for free shipping. Seems that the identical device in black was priced a dollar less than the white model and did not trigger free shipping. Go figure....

[1320 x 1080] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clean picture. I however keep reaching up to use as a touch screen and it doesn't do that. Overall a great display I use it with my laptop as the primary screen and my laptop as the second screen. The camera is decent and would work for telehealth or zoom

[1920 x 1080] I cannot write a review regarding laptop, as I'm still waiting to receive it. To be fair, it doesn't seem to be an issue with B&H as they have shipped it on April 3rd, but rather USPS. It is now April 15 and I'm still waiting to receive my purchase. I actually paid $46 extra for priority shipping. According to tracking, it has sat at a New Jersey USPS facility from April 3rd till April 12th, or 9 days from some reason. I finally got my local post office involved and they sent some emails out to NJ. It seems to have left facility there on 12th finally and is now in transit to next facility, hopefully one close to where I live. I will leave a review of product, once I get my hands on it. Unfortunately I'm an over the road trucker and I leave home in 3 days, so I may not see laptop until I get home again in about 2 months :(. Anyways, as for purchase from B&H concerned, it was hassle free and their initial communication was excellent and very pleasant. Seem like real nice folks there! A lady actually called me on a Sunday when I placed order to verify some things before releasing purchase, in order to protect me from potential fraud which left me with a very nice impression!
