[Zipper] I have had the original version of this for a while and use it in a backpack and standalone. This updated version with carrying strap is even better when using it as a standalone bag out of the backpack. I have found this to be better than any of the camera backpacks because I get to use one my fav travel backpacks that still functions primarily as a backpack versus all camera gear focused. I'm usually carrying one R8 sized body with a 25-105 attached and one or two other lenses, plus spare batteries. Great for travel. 5 |

[Universal] I purchased and returned several camera backpacks before getting this one. This is designed to hold a lot of gear whether for photography or video. I use it for my BMPCC 4k & 3 primes lenses with other support gear. Fits snug & perfect. 5 |

[1.7 lb] I’ve had photography backpacks for years… but every time I needed to reconfigure it for one camera + lenses + flashlights + triggers, etc or two camera + just lenses I had play around with dividers, and I never remembered the exact configuration I used last time… with this backpack and these cubes, I just pop one out and drop a different one in, each configured to my different needs! Simple! 5 |

[Yes] I own 12 backpacks and I've bought 8 of them with the intention to travel. Needless to say, I feel like somewhat of a snob in the realm of backpacks. I wish I would have stumbled on this bag two years ago because I bought something very similar that cost me almost 5 times what this bag costs. Here's what I LOVE about this bag... - Although this bag is very affordable, it does not look or feel cheap. - The water resistant zipper reflective strips on the back look great and are functional. - While the material is not Cordura - it feels very strong and durable. - The 180 degree main zippered compartment means you can lay the bag flat and organize comfortably. - The 17in laptop compartment is a plus. I'm able to fit my16in laptop w/ sleeve and my 12in ipad in the laptop compartment. There is even a little space left over if I wanted to add a few magazines or a book. - By far my favorite feature of this bag is the trolley strap. If you travel as much as I do you know that having the option to NOT carry a backpack on your shoulders can be very helpful especially if the backpack has more than one laptop plus all the extra items. I think this feature is what makes this bag extremely invaluable given that most slim backpacks do NOT offer this option. The only thing I don't like about this bag is the USB Passthrough Port. It works and it's not in the way, I've just never used these ports and find them to be rather useless. They look cute, but i've never seen anyone utilize the USB port (especially while wearing a backpack). I highly Recommend this bag. At its retail price I doubt you will find anything this good. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review.] 5 |

[Zipper] I’ve just purchased the first of what will certainly be multiple Thule backpacks. I am beginning a new job and needed a backpack that will look professional when I have meetings following travel. This bag is beautifully organized with direct access to my computer as well as plenty of pockets for all the other work & travel necessities. The exterior is thick, the bottom is reinforced and the bag fits comfortably and doesn’t make my back sweat, On a day off I went for a couple hour hike and took the bag with me and was happy everything inside stayed dry. My only concern is that for longer trips I will probably need more room, That’s OK, I’ll get something a bit bigger too. In total I’ve used the bag on three trips so far and each time people asked about the bag because they didn’t know Thule made bags or just to compliment the look. 5 |

[Zipper] The 45L Travel Backpack answered a lot of questions and filled in the gaps with previous backpacks I've used. I travel for work, and am a self-described bag geek/junkie buying and trying a veritable pantheon of backpacks, slings and hip packs. The PD 45L allows me to cater my pack load for each travel op with ease utilizing the features available, as well as the accessories that can be hot-swapped at a moments' notice. I carry 2 laptops for work, so comfort is key in a backpack for me. The laptop sleeve is well-placed and padded perfectly for lumbar and shoulder-weight comfort. I was concerned the shoulder straps would be uncomfortable and lacking in padding, but they are surprisingly stable, easy to adjust and comfortable with heavy loads. Quick access is a welcome feature with side zip access and top-mounted, weather-resistant zippers. The 45L is my daily carry, as well as my travel go-to. Cannot say enough great things about it, well done to the R/D Team at Peak Design - thank you for a great backpack! 5 |

[11 lb / 5 kg] I use this camera for landscape and still life photography. I travel with it. Folded with 5 lenses and all necessary accesories everything fits in a small back pack. It took a few weeks to work my way around the movements and quickest way to fold it down. But once you are familiar with how it works it is a dream. I have had the camera for ten years and have had nothing fail. Perfect for what I do. I wish the wide angle bellows were stiffer and I have to take care of picture frame edges with 135mm lens. 5 |

[35mm] I am using the camera for family and travel photography and purchased it because of backward compatibility with Pentax lenses, a good experience with the K-x model and because I wanted a robustly built camera that was weatherproof. It is easy to handle, a nice compact size for a DSLR and appears to be well made. Like all DSLRs it takes a while to learn how to use it properly and is complex. 5 |
