[3.45 lb] Since going to a mirrorless camera my travel tripod needs have been greatly reduced. When traveling normally the largest lens I will be using will be a 70-200 f2.8 with a combined camera + lens weight of approx. 5 1/2 lbs. so my large Gitzo was overkill for travel. I still need the large tripod for large lenses for wildlife work, but for normal travel the Gitzo Series 1 is very stable and suits my travel needs perfectly, and as always I purchase for B & H ..

[Ball Head] I frequently travel internationally with my mirrorless gear and bought this tripod with size & weight in mind. I was pleasantly surprised to find out just how stable it is as well. Remove the center post and spread the legs out to the widest point to create a platform that can be used to shoot the stars. In a pinch, I had to use the tripod locally for with my big rig and it had no issues supporting the weight and bulk. Well designed product at a reasonable price point.

[Aluminum] I enjoy using this tripod. Ill admit that this is my first tripod but I can tell that this will be more than good enough for anything Ill be doing with a mirrorless camera as far as I can tell.

[0.08 lb] I had one of these on a Canon SL1 and loved it, so when I recently bought a mirrorless camera, it was one  of the first accessories I bought.  If you travel and like to photograph the places you visit, it works perfectly around your wrist and you dont need to continuously take your camera in and out of your camera bag.  It keeps your camera close and secure.

[0.55 lb] We typically travel with a DSLR, a mirrorless 4K video camera, and one or two snapshot-type fixed lens cameras. Naturally, all take different batteries. With the Watson system (and it is a system) we only need one charger body (multi-voltage for international travel) and a small, thin adapter plate for each battery. Really cuts down on what you need to carry.

[1.975 lb] Very well constructed camera bag that is perfect for travel. Fits a mirrorless camera with kit lens, additional lens, and accessories no problem. Could easily accommodate an additional lens. Large enough for that purpose, but small enough to take on a plane and place under the seat with considerable leg room to spare. Comfortable shoulder strap and carrying handle, with water resistant shell plus rain cover if needed. Highly recommended.

[2.2 lb / 1 kg] Great small travel tripod and can be used as a camera handle grip.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] The National Geographic Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod is perfect for me, I needed a multifunction tripod for the kind / type of photography that I do. Which is mostly on rocky shorelines and river inlets. First off, being carbon fiber, it is very light weight, plus it is very resistant to the salt environment that I work in. Secondly, the way the legs are mulitfunctional really helps in positioning the camera in the right spot and angle to get the shot that I am after, the ball head also helps with this. The fact that you can change the center shaft so that you can put the camera down low, but still have the stabilizablity of the tripod really helps a lot. I have tried a number of different tripods over the years, and this one by far meets my needs the best.

[6 lb] I take this scope with me when I travel. Tripod is not great but I expected as much for the price. I planned to use this scope on my camera tripod anyway. Scope is nice.
