Tv Stand With Space For Soundbar

[16.5 lb] Used this with Samsung UN40MU6290 (40 in TV). I needed to raise the TV further off of the dresser so that a Sonos Beam soundbar could fit beneath the TV without blocking the IR receiver on the TV. The stand that came with the TV was too low. The SANUS VSTV1 stand is well built and comes with all of the necessary screws and attachments. Putting it together was not difficult. I was able to adjust it so that the TV was at a perfect height to work with the Sonos Beam soundbar. A lip on the lower portion of the TV (and small TV size) limited positioning of the vertical brackets that are attached to the TV. For the height that I needed, this meant that the brackets stuck out approx 1 cm above the top of the TV. I ended up using a saw to cut off the ends of the bracket so that they did not stick out.

[Landscape] My tv is installed in a recessed space. With the new tv, I needed to install a full motion mount since the tv edge overhangs the recessed space. There was really only one stud to mount against so the Kanye PS400 worked great. I was able to level both the stand and the tv with the setup. Package includes all the bolts you might need. Only concern is the lower stand mount is a elongated hole to allow leveling but also allows the stand to tilt if too much torque is applied to the stand. However, I have the bolt tight enough enough to hail and not damage the stud.

[1] Great sound from a fantastic immersive soundbar. It has changed the way we enjoy watching TV. With 48 years in sound as a recordest for film and tv, I could kick myself for not doing this sooner. And so easy to setup. One cable to tv, wireless subwoofer that to back skeakers connect too.

[400 x 400 mm] Great Tv easy to operate and no problem to set up. I do need help setting up my soundbar though.

[51 x 22 x 10"] Wonderful soundbar, outstanding... it matches perfectly with my LG Tv 77" with spectacular sound; if you have a Tv LG you should try it. It would seem that due to It's size it would be limited, but it perfectly fills my living Room and the movies sound incredible. THANKS B&H for your excellent service.
