[1] With the new laptops on the market without VGA ports, I am purchasing a large number of these adapters to connect to projectors and external monitors. Star Tech is my only go to product for this use. I've used Monoprice but they do not hold up very long at all and are cheaply made. I also use Star Tech adapters of different types for the same purposes. I'm glad to have a quality product I can keep going back to and B&H always has the best price.

[Yes] That's the great thing about Star Tech equipment, it just works. I've used this adapter on several newer Macs with USB-C ports without a problem. Plug it in and start computing. I bought it to have a dedicated adapter for the Macs and as a backup in case my AngelBird adapter goes AWOL. The price was spot on as well.

[2.5 mm, PC] Although this is sold as a Canon ETTL twin lite macro flash, it work perfectly well in manual mode with my Pentax K1I. Just set the power at 1/4 or 1/8 power to fill in some shadows, set your shutter speed no higher than 1/200, focus on your macro subject at F 6.3-F8 and fire away. Works great.

[100 W ] We're producing a documentary series and need the speed and portability of LED with the punch of an HMI. The Twin Sun comes really close. It's roughly equivalent to a 1.6K, though with a wider spread than an HMI. Out of the box it was put to work for seven straight days of location shooting with a lot of repos. It's reliable, feels sturdy and tough, and can run off wall power or two V-mount batteries. It's dimmable and bi-color, so it's useful as a key for interviews or to light larger scenes. Pros, the Twin Sun's power let's us be completely LED and the battery power let's us be completely cordless. Con, and only one so far, is you'll need several batteries on hand; two batteries power it for a little over an hour.

[60 Hz] This cleaned up the atheistic and actual space of my desk. So far the tech look and works great.
