[Stand Base] Even though my Blue Yeti microphone comes with a deluxe, heavy black anodized aluminum stand, I like this one better. The Blue Yeti mic stand is tall, and the mic blocks too much of the view of my monitor. This stand, on the other hand, is the perfect height. The bottom of my microphone is barely 2 inches above the desk. It's amazingly simple to deploy, with three legs that feel like metal, maybe steel, I'm not sure. The little footpads grip the desk nicely. If you want to mount the mic directly to the 5/8 adapter like I did, you will need to purchase a right-angle mini USB adapter, because there's not enough clearance between the bottom of the mic and the stand for a conventional mini USB plug.

[Rubber] I bought B&H's Rode NT-USB Mini USB Microphone Kit with Broadcast Arm and Closed-Back Headphones (BH #RONTUSBMINIB) and was fairly happy with it, but wanted to reduce sound transmitted through the desk-mounted arm. It seems that most shock mounts hold the barrel of the microphone, but the Rode NT-USB mini is a rectangular block rather than a cylinder. It bolts into this mount just fine though. The reduction in sound conducted through the arm is very noticeable. I don't have experience with other shock mounts to compare to, but this works better than I expected.

[128 GB] USB 2.0, so it's a little slow. Otherwise pretty good.

[Side Address] Microphone has a really good sounding quality for a USB mic & a nice full metal body, metal grill. I use it on my PC, Mac & Ps4. Headphones have a build quality a little bit cheap but really confortable and sound pretty good for the price.

[3/8"-16 Male] Fantastic microphone. I've only been using the USB interface so far but even that sounds great. I would definitely recomend this mic for anyone on a budget.

[Cardioid] I previously used a Logitech USB Desktop Microphone for my Dragon NaturallySpeaking voice recognition software and it worked very good. But the Samson Go Mic has superseded my expectations of it being a little better than the Logitech. Excellent microphone for the price. Go Mic is positioned approximately 14 inches in front of my mouth and 1 inch lower.

[0.02 oz / 0.7 g] I bought these for our company to do at home recorded videos on their laptops with better audio quality than the built in laptop microphone. I just tested it and compared it to the laptop mic and there is a very noticeable increase in quality when using the usb lav. At first it was way too over modulated but then I realized I needed to tweak the mic settings in windows 10. First, plug it in and let it download the drivers automatically. Then, type the word sound in the windows 10 search bar and click sound settings. In there, go to the microphone area and make sure the usb lav is the active one selected. Once it is, click on device properties and in that menu adjust the volume slider until you have a proper microphone level that isn't topping out too much to the right on the sound level bar. I put mine around 40-50 but it depends on how close the mic is to you mouth.

[1" (2.5 cm)] I use this mic stand with the Yeti THX-Certified USB Condenser Microphone, and even though the mic is quite heavy, the mic stand is still stable and secure. It's also easy to adjust. Setting it up and taking it down are fairly simple as well. From my experience, for people from 5'1 to 5'10, it worked fine, and when we were playing instruments, it was easily adjustable to a lower height.
