[11.9 Mpps] I have this being powered from a UniFi US-16 150w POE switch and powering a UniFi AP-AC-Pro access point through the POE pass-through port.

[Yes 1 RU] I have this 24 port switch in a living space so quiet operation was a key requirement. And it is silent, no fan. Unfortunately, that ruled out using their POE version of this switch. For my POE needs, I added a Unifi 8 port POE switch which also has no fan and is silent. I have multiple Unifi switches that I manage. They are easy to install and configure.

[13.39 Mpps] I purchased this switch to supply connectivity to an AP and 3 - IP security cameras in a detached garage. This 5 port switch is outdoor in its temp handling range. However it does need to be installed in a weatherproof enclosure or inside a building (with or without climate control.) It DOES NOT have stand alone power, but instead supplies POE power tto itself and downstream devices by being powered by POE into port 1. This means you need to power this with a POE switch or POE injector upstream. It can be powered by 802.3af or at POE, but for any practical install (meaning powering devices downstream of the switch) it needs fed with a 60W 802.3bt POE supply. I'm using a TP-Link 60W POE injector and this works without issue. The switch itself is a full feature Unifi switch. Configured and controlled via a Unifi controller (Cloud Key) it can be setup by a user with intermediate knowledge of networking. Ports feature full VLAN support and control. For my use case, I needed to power an access point and 3 wired cameras. The FLEX is tailor made for this. Port 1 is power in an a trunk port. Port 2 is a second trunk feeding and powering a Unifi 6 Pro AP. Ports 3, 4, and 5 are set to a camera VLAN as well as supplying power. It does get warm to the touch. It passes full line rate speeds. For those already in the Unifi ecosystem and in need of switch for hi/low temp environments, this switch is a good option. I'll update if anything changes or if there are any issues.

[Yes] If your in need a managed switch with full Nbase-T and 10Gbase-T support with POE this is gonna be hard to beat. You will need a Unifi controller to run this switch as it does not have an independent GUI for management. But if your already in the Unifi ecosystem or your interested in buying into it, this makes a solid 10G copper and SFP switch for a home office, home lab, or small to medium office. The controller makes configuration simple and fast. It has full VLAN support and can be used as either a small core switch or a multi gig AP / client switch. My use case was to provide 2.5Gbps links to a router and PC, and 10G to a NAS. Then I use a downstream switch for the rest of the network. So far, aim very happy. However I will say the port negotiation for speeds above 1G is flaky. I ended up setting the port speeds manually which prevents the temporary port disconnects I was experiencing. This is the only com only complaint I have. Build quality is excellent. It is not fanless but virtually silent though I'm not pulling any POE out of it.

[Storm Control] I am using this UniFi 8-port switch as a secondary remote switch to my UniFi 16-port network switch. No issues whatsoever.

[Yes] I don't need any PoE ports, but this is my first managed switch, and I like it. I could use more ports altogether, so when I upgrade to a 16- or 24-port model this will go on my desk, but until then this does the job.
