Plug and play driver installation via Windows Update; manual driver installation on macOS. Dock does not charge host PC. I have already recommended the Plugable USB 3 Universal Docking Station for Dual Monitor to many of my friends and family and several of them have already purchased and used this docking station to manage their dual monitors quite easily and they all love to use this device.

I was able to set my displays without any issues. I like the multiple plug-in outlets on the docking station. It allows me to add various connect various cords for syncingto my laptop.

While featuring two USB 3.0 ports, and four USB 2.0 ports. This particular Universal Labtop Docking System is does not support Gaming Systems or Linus compatible or charge Host PC! This docking station was easy to set up. The quality of it seems to be nice and the docking station looks premium. It seems to be working flawlessly for what I need. I really like that it is light and works nicely with my Chromebook and 2 monitors. The packaging comes with UD-MSTHDC Docking Station, power adapter, USB-C and USB-C cable.

[USB-C Male] Bought it to replace an aging cable for a Mac docking station, the problem was that the secondary display connected to the docking station started to flicker and lose signal at any moment. But most cables I was able to buy in local stores only had the usbc physical connector, but still old USB 2.0 protocol which doesn't handle video signal. This cable worked perfectly with the docking station, is able to handle the HDMI video signal, and is the perfect length for the replacement.

This docking station increases the versatility of my new Mac Pro by allowing me to dock with more antiquated devices. I am very happy with it and give it a five-star rating. Everything is simple to set up and you are done with the whole process in less than a minute. I also love that their is an HDMI port in case I want to connect to my television.

[Aluminum] I had a docking station from Plugable that I really liked, but it used DisplayLink drivers technology and because of a recent Mac update I could no longer watch videos from Netflix or Udemy or YouTube TV. Thank goodness I discovered this Hyper drive! It arrived yesterday and it’s working flawlessly and it doesn’t use any drivers whatsoever. So I can see all my content again AND as an added bonus I can finally use Flux and Nightshift on my external monitors for the first time! Very, very satisfied with this product despite its high cost.
