[Rolltop] This is definitely not a carry all DSLR backpack, however if your looking for a safe, functional, inexpensive, and high durability backpack. THIS IS IT. I am an amateur photo/video enthusiast and this backpack holds what I need, and is very sturdy. There is more than adequate padding and I appreciate that its not black like 90% of camera backpacks and it doesn't look like a tech bag. I personally wanted a camera bag with no front or side access so that my gear would only be accessible next to my back so for me thats a bonus. It comes with a few features that you wouldn't necessarily expect for a $40 backpack like a rain cover stored in the very bottom pouch, plus a chest and waist strap. If your looking to spend very little and don't have a ton of gear this is a great bag. I have no worries about the safety of my gear.

[Empty] I am a professional engineering consultant and I do a lot of camera photography as well. I needed a backpack instead of a briefcase. I searched high and low for all sorts of camera bags but none could offer a sweet spot to serve as a dual camera bag and office bag backpack. Many camera bags would focus too heavily on camera gear and little on business functionality. I have very high end and expensive professional camera gear but only use four prime lenses. After much thought and deliberation, I decided to change my focus from trying to find a camera bag that does business to finding a business bag that I can also use for my camera gear. Equipped with some lens pouches, I can securely place my expensive camera gear in my backpack and have all the functionality of a mobile office as well. The Samsonite Openroad backpack does not disappoint and I have already bought the 15.6 inch backpack as well as the larger 17.3 inch backpack. Love it, Love it, Love it. I hope Samsonite keeps this functional and comfortable to carry Openroad backpack in their line up for many years to come as I have referred many to buy this well made backpack. Good job Samsonite !!!! Thank you....

[Black] This backpack is sturdy enough to protect the camera gear I have (I'm not a professional videographer). I love the side pocket - it makes a huge difference when I'm taking photos.

[Yes] I recently used the MindShift Gear BackLight 26L Backpack (Charcoal) for a convention in Las Vegas. I carried two a7iv's with 28-200 lenses, a charger, battery, two water bottles, and snacks for over 30 miles of walking and the pack was comfortable the entire time. The backpack's design allowed for easy access to my camera gear and the well-padded straps and back panel made it easy to carry all of my items without any discomfort. One thing I really appreciate about this backpack is that it doesn't have the normal overtly sleek tech look to it, but has more of an outdoorsy vibe which is nice and can help you not stand out or look like a target for tech thieves. Overall, I highly recommend the MindShift Gear BackLight 26L Backpack for anyone in need of a durable and comfortable backpack for carrying camera gear and other essentials.

[Zipper] I researched dozens of camera bags/watched YouTube Product reviews for all of them, and typically I'll go for the more expensive/higher-end product...HOWEVER, I kept coming back to the USA GEAR S17 bag primarily because of its design layout and style, and it just happened to be the most affordable one out of all of them! Once I received the bag, I was able to load my Panasonic GH5, 3 lenses, DJI Mavic Air & Controller, Zoom F1 & Shotgun Mic in just the main divided compartment. In the top/rectangular shaped compartment, I was able to neatly store all of my miscellaneous batteries, and all charger docks/cords for the gear listed above, with some room to spare. Additionally, my 15 inch Macbook Pro slides nicely in the dedicated laptop compartment. Often, when you have a camera bag loaded, there's a certain rigidity that occurs, causing the backpack to feel uncomfortablely firm, as if you're wearing a box on your back... Fortunately, this is not the case with this backpack, it is very comfortable to wear and feels very natural. I primarily shoot real estate property videos, and I love knowing that 90% of my gear is neatly condensed into a sleek backpack, and being able to just walk in and grab my bag and go is a refreshing feeling! USA Gear nailed it with the S17 design!

[Double] This backpack holds everything I need so I only need one bag when I need to take my laptop. I like the gray material...it looks nice/professional, but doesn't stand out. My husband will even carry it, if needed. Has just the right amount of pockets and padding for protection, but doesn't feel bulky.

[Zipper] The Ruggard Thunderhead 35 DSLR & Laptop Backpack is more spacious than it looks. Super rugged and sturdy. Great protection for DSLR camera and lens. Great price, too!

[Zipper] This backpack was hard to find in stock anywhere including the manufacturer’s website, but B&H had it in stock and in my hands within a couple of days! It has plenty of storage space and will accommodate my Nikon DSLR with Nikki’s 200-500mm zoom attached on one side with plenty of space for my other DSLR and lenses on the other side. The straps fold up in a pocket on the back if needed, is right size for carry on luggage, and I actually squeezed a 17” laptop into the sleeve for laptops. I will actually be using a 16” laptop with it though! It’s everything you see in the listing and reviews!

[Zipper] This backpack is great for those who like to take a DSLR and a few lenses as well as a travel tripod. Laptop/Ipad spot is an added bonus. Plenty of compartments for your accessories. This is an extremely well constructed piece. You can’t go wrong if you purchase this. Lowpro’s are great to carry your valuable gear.

[2.42 lb] I really like this backpack. It fits all our gear (except drone) including a Canon G7X, Nikon DSLR, assorted lenses, cords, backup hard drive, and GoPro. It is so much nicer having everything in one place and not spread out in different bags and carrying cases. Now we just have two packs, one for the DJI Mavic Pro and one for all the rest of our gear.
