I have another review that I wrote about this mic, but B&H's website doesn't appear to let me update that review. I've now been using this mic almost daily for over a year. The audio is crisp and clear, background noise is kept to a minimum, and people on the other end of the meeting/phone call give compliments on the detail that this mic captures. I used to use a condenser mic, but that also had the annoying feature of picking up a lot of 60Hz hum. This mic doesn't do that and I didn't have to make any adjustments to the room either. For the person who mentioned they couldn't fit it in a shockmount, it has one internally. That is why the mic is the size that it is. For those complaining about the USB port, mine hasn't had any issues. I accidentally bent the micro usb connector on the cheap cable they shipped with it and the mic survived just fine. The cable, on the other hand, was useless after that. I solved this problem by finding a 90 degree USB adapter so that the connector isn't pointing straight out the back of the mic. It now sits mostly flush and swiveling the mic is more likely to cause the adapter to disconnect at the other end. If your laptop, like mine, is usb-c only, don't try to buy long usb-c to usb-c cables. They are crazy expensive. Instead, try to buy a usb-c to mini or micro usb-b cable. They are much cheaper. My setup is usb-c to micro usb (10 feet), then an adapter from micro-usb to usb-c (1 inch), and then finally a short usb-c to 90 degree micro-usb adapter (6 inches). 5 |

[4 ohms] The adapter works great with Sony MDR-ZX110AP headphones w/inline mic. 5 |

[0.2 lb] Works great for ethernet, a USB-C lapel mic, and a webcam. I wish it had an audio port for headphones, but I guess it doesn't need to have everything for it's price. The build quality is a lot higher than I expected, very sturdy. The USB-C male cable (to connect to computer) is a bit short, but that likely improve durability. 5 |

[Black] Needed to go from headphones with separate mic and speaker inputs to PS4 controller. This adapter looks sturdy and works so far. 5 |

[5 V] Great mic, but combo kit includes monitor headphones with 1/4â plug. When used for podcasting, headphones are useless for live monitoring without 1/4â to 1/8â adapter. Maybe create âpodcaster kitâ that includes adapter. 5 |

[Stand Base] Even though my Blue Yeti microphone comes with a deluxe, heavy black anodized aluminum stand, I like this one better. The Blue Yeti mic stand is tall, and the mic blocks too much of the view of my monitor. This stand, on the other hand, is the perfect height. The bottom of my microphone is barely 2 inches above the desk. It's amazingly simple to deploy, with three legs that feel like metal, maybe steel, I'm not sure. The little footpads grip the desk nicely. If you want to mount the mic directly to the 5/8 adapter like I did, you will need to purchase a right-angle mini USB adapter, because there's not enough clearance between the bottom of the mic and the stand for a conventional mini USB plug. 5 |

[Lightning Male] After buying a USB-C lav mic which I intended to use with my MacBook and my iPhone (with an adapter), I soon realized that while there are adapters to plug a USB mic into an iPhone lighting port, there aren't any for USB-C mics. The only USB-C to lightning adapters I could find would not work with audio, only charging. The Comica Audio adapter allows me to use two adapters -- USB-C to USB to Lightning -- to use my lav mic on my iPhone. 5 |

[1x USB-C Male] So yes. First off this thing cleans up your audio from external mics very well. I've tried this on my motorcycle with the gain set to -10db and it turned out very clear (I am still editing that video). It fits nice and tight onto the side of your Action 3/4. Something to note....you WILL need to remove your usb-c access door to use this. Lucky for you, it removes easily by design and yessss it fits Into your camera while your camera is still in a cage. Another thing is you CAN use the usb-c port to charge your camera while still using the 3.5mm jack to plug a mic into while recording. - The 3.5mm jack is a TRS port so your mic has to have 2 lines on the 3.5mm end (not 3) in order to work with this adapter. - You cannot use the usb-c port of this mic adapter with a usb-c microphone as that mic will not work. If you have a usb-c microphone, plug it directly into the camera to use it. - the usb-c port of this adapter can be used to transfer files from the camera to your phone/laptop/tablet or PC or charge the camera ONLY. 5 |
