[1 A] Couldn't be happier. Just make sure you have the exact right USB 3.1 cable that you need; there are a few different types.

[USB-A Male] .review for: Belkin SuperSpeed+ USB 3.1 Type-A to Type-C Cable (3', Black) MFR # F2CU029BT1M-BLK This cable won't dissapoint. This is not like the cheap cables where connectors are wiggling and shaking when connected. The belking metal connectors fit snugly in the Type-A and Type-C ports we plugged them into, staying firmly in place with minimal wiggling. If you want a high quality cable, this is it.

[SATA 3 (6 Gb/s)] I find this cable nice and strong, and I appreciate the speed of USB-C 3.1. Works great!

[Y-Cable] A little confusing regarding USB 3.0 vs. USB 3.1. It was listed as a USB 3.1 Gen 1 cable on the BH website, but when received the box says USB 3.0. After a bit of research I discovered that USB 3.1 gen 1 is the same thing as USB 3.0, so all is good albeit a bit confusing. Cable seems to be of excellent quality.

[0.255 lb] If you have transfer speed issues, use a certified USB C 3.1 cable; not all cables are created equally. I was stuck with 40MB transfer speed until I changed my cable. With the proper cable, it jumps to over 480MB/sec. Much faster and no need for other adapters.

[100 W] This Kondor Blue right-angle usb 3.1 type-c cable is being used to record 3:1 CDNG Raw video from the BMPCC 4K camera to the Samsung T5. It works perfectly without dropped frames -- it's a cost-effective alternative to Cfast 2.0 cards. Furthermore, the right-angle Type-C termination fits well with the Smallrig cage while using a Smallrig cable clamp, so the cable is not protruding from the side AND there's no chance of accidentally pulling it out - a bonus.

[3.45 μm] Needed an expansion card for my desktop (because all of the USB 3.1 ports were on the front panel) and found this on the B&H site. I had an open PCIex1 slot and wanted USB A 3.1 or newer ports. Only other cards that fit an x1 slot were USB A 3.0 and many required cable connections. Installation was easy and performance so far has been great. Fantastic customer service from Sonnet. I had questions before purchasing this card and received a quick and very helpful response. During installation I had several panic or uncertainty questions and once again, the Sonnet team came through with a quick and much needed response. I connected my Dell U2422H USB cable, along with my two external HD's to the new ports and it works really well.

[6] I have the longer version of this cable so I have the same exact thoughts on both. If you do not need the speed of a USB 3.1 cable and you have some newer USB C style devices then this is for you. If you plan to get a USB C computer of any kind in the near future then I would recommend just getting the USB 3.1 version as it should be backwards compatible. If you only need it for charging purposes then just save some money and stick with this USB 2.0 version. I prefer the 3' one for hard drives or devices near my desktop that I will not be moving around very much and the 6' for charging purpose for some of my mobile devices.
