Usb C Portable Monitors

[ 2.5" HDD ] This is my third Transcend USB 3 Portable Drive. Love how small, quiet and portable they are. I recommend formatting them to exFat before putting data onto them, so that you can go from Mac to PC easily. Never had any problems, tho I always backup to a second drive for peace of mind.

[OLED] One of the best plug and play portable monitors I have used. ASUS should bundle this with their Zenbook duos.

[USB-A Male] Since my newer Macbooks use these USB-C connections, it's great to get a cable for my older portable Seagate drives that doesn't need the additional usb-A to usb-c nubs (you know how many of these I've l had to buy after easily losing them????) There's connections for everything.

[0.45 lb] It works good with MS C++ 2015 under windows 10, with Video For Windows (vfw32.lib)

[0.135 lb] Leica Summicron-M 50mm F2 lens (c.1982) to a new Sony a7R3 �body is a good combo for me. Sony body �set to "Auto" and up and going right out of the box. An old Kodak +3 close-up (supplementary) lens is a cheap way to get higher magnification with the Summicron.

[NTSC / PAL] Unlike a lot of other flimsy portable monitors, this thing was well crafted. Has sufficient weight that I'm not worried about breaking in my bag, but also light enough that I barely notice it. It's components are high quality and don't have the on/off flicker that occurs with any movement on cheaper monitors and HDMI connections. Big fan.

[5 A] Finally found a cable that works with my portable Type C monitors. Tried other Type C cables that didn't work due to lack of proper power delivery. Great find!

[141 ppi] I have seen other portable monitors in a variety of work and video scenarios - nothing comes close to the image and clarity that this one provides! A suggestion for practical use: Although it comes with a fine protective cover, it is thin and unsuitable for regular backpacks. Ask the fine people at B&H for help in selecting the correct sleeve for traveling. Again, the unit is wonderful in every way and the technical support with Viewsonic is amazing!

[16:9] This is my first portable monitor. Before purchase the main concern was whether there would be any audio or visual lag, and I am pleased to report that there is none that I can perceive (I'm an older gamer in my 40s). Both Nintendo and Sega mini consoles work well with the screen and the sound coming out of the headphone jack goes straight to my speakers without any delay. Nintendo Switch works fine and while I haven't had a chance to test PS3/4/5 yet, I'd imagine they should work fine as well. Colors seem natural and vivid, especially when placed next to a cheaper laptop with weaker colors. Red looks red rather than orange. When it came to portable monitors and gaming consoles, it was difficult trying to find a definitive answer on the internet as to which have lag and which don't. Compared to more expensive gaming portable monitors, this monitor at $200 was a smaller risk to take and I am glad that the risk paid off.
