Usb Computer Monitor

[3840 x 2160] I use this KVM to share my monitor with my computer and my Xbox 360. The USB ports in the front come in handy when I need to quickly connect a device. One short coming was that to connect my 360 I needed to add a VGA gender changer to the cable.(but that was my own short site)

[IPS-Type LCD] Mounts with a pair of magnets, plugs into a USB port on the monitor. You have to plug in the USB-C cable to the computer (which also carries video as well as USB). To get it to work with an M2 Mac Mini, I had to install Dell's DDPM app for the U2421E - otherwise none of the USB ports worked on the monitor.

[0.91 lb] This USB hub makes using a flash drive much easier on my All In One computer. Not having to turn my monitor sideways to see the USB ports and having 7 USB slots makes things a lot faster and easier. Not to mention no stress on my built-in USB ports. The On/Off switches are great as I can turn off a USB slot before removing or installing a flash drive.

[87 ppi] Got this square-ish (5:4) monitor from B&H. Its the neat form factor I wanted for the home office, not a wide screen. Its beautiful. Premium stand and screen.  Comes with all cables (USB, HDMI, and VGA - although I couldnt connect the monitor to the computer via USB but see below. Used the HDMI) and solid, polished hardware. You snap and twist it together in two seconds. It works as expected and I love it.  BONUS: Two USB ports on the monitor. For these USB ports to work and sync you need to connect the monitor to the computer via the USB (in addition to the HDMI cable). Maybe thats what the USB cable and port behind the monitor are there for (and not to be the primary means of connecting the monitor to the computer). So maybe Im not such a klutz after all? Solid piece. Love it.

[50000 Hours] A simple 1 cable setup (USB C) from my computer to this monitor. Easy to set up. Touch screen is responsive. Brightness is sufficient. Finally a way to travel w/ 2 screens.

[Yes] I ordered this monitor on Saturday evening, Dec. 2, and received it in Bethesda, MD, early the following Monday morning. Well done, as usual, B&H Photo! I unpacked it and set it up, only to find that the proprietary BenQ Palette Master Ultimate software wouldn't recognize either the monitor or my colorimeter. You need the BenQ software to perform a hardware calibration. Other calibration software, even Calman's at $2000, will only perform a software calibration. I called BenQ tech support and was delighted to discover it's U.S.-based. I was not so delighted to have them tell me, however, that the problem with the software had arisen a few weeks ago, and they did not yet have a solution. The BenQ engineers thought a recent Windows update might have made changes that caused the problem. After a few calls, the BenQ tech support staff eventually escalated me to a BenQ technical support manager. She could not have been more diligent in working with me, and after a few days, she provided new drivers for my computer's USB serial computer. Miracle of miracles, that worked! But beware! It only worked when I attached the colorimeter to the side of the monitor via a USB-A port there and to the monitor to the computer via the BenQ-supplied USB-A to USB-B cable.  Palette Master Ultimate would not recognize the colorimeter if I used its native USB-C connection when connected to either the monitor or the computer. There were times early on when I thought I would have to pack up the monitor and send it back to B&H Photo, no small task because the monitor comes in an extraordinarily large box and its packaging is like a Rubik's cube. BenQ's tech support, however, did itself proud! The image quality of the monitor is outstanding, and with the software now working, I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
