Usb Ergonomic Mouse & Keyboard

[4 (16 Cascade)] This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.

[Membrane] (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Both keyboard and mouse are very ergonomic. It solved my fingers pains changing to the Lenovo 300 Combo Wireless. Also, using the keyboard is very smooth, once it does not make any annoying sound. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP 920 Ergonomic Wireless Vertical Mouse is a great alternative to the normal computer mouse. Although I have had no issues using a regular mouse, I was excited to try the vertical design. The HP 920 mouse is considerably larger, more meant to fit the curve of the right hand and thumb. It feels comfortable in the natural hand position. The bottom attachment adds to the bulk but provides a resting spot for the bottom of the hand and wrist. The included usb dongle works flawlessly and has a dedicated storage compartment on the mouse. I find it easy to move the cursor, scroll, right click, and left click.

[80 GB HDD IDE] We purchased this for our TV station to connect to one of our KVMs. It is -much- better than a simple pull-out rack for a miniature keyboard and mouse, which ends up being quite cramped. Plus we save the rack space of having to have a monitor in the rack. The keyboard is basically full-size and there's a trackpad... some of our engineers don't like using a trackpad, but we use the USB pass-through to let them plug in a mouse, so it's great! We did need to buy a special cable, USB Type A to USB Type A, to get the pass-through connected up though. Build quality is outstanding.

[41 lb] I needed to switch between two laptops that needed to use the same USB keyboard, USB mouse, and monitor using a VGA connector. The IOGear 2-port USB KVM switch is compact, with plenty of attached cables for both computers, and a very handy push-button switch on a long dedicated cable that allowed me to hide the KVM and position the switch right in front of my monitor. I am very pleased with the unit.

[2] Make sure to actually use the usb output that matches the computer your are testing your mouse+keyboard with. I had the keyboard+mouse not working like some mentioned in other comments/reviews. I contacted the support team which helped me make it work correctly. It's silly but we never know what would have with lack of coffee :) .

[4] This is an inexpensive, simple yet elegant solution to connecting two PCs to a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse. And by combining the keyboard and mouse cables into one USB connection, you gain a USB connection on your PCs. Just a push of the button and you switch from one to the other. It's that simple. One PC is Windows XP, the other is Windows 7. The first time connecting I needed to unplug and replug the keyboard and mouse to get the PC to see them, but only the first time. Now I just push the button. Simple yet elegant.

[USB-C ] Very light and quiet keyboard. Pairs with mx master 3s mouse in one USB. Great key board for daily use.
