[C-mount] Needed more USB 3.x ports with a controller, didn't need to be bleeding edge Gen 2.2.abyx.v10 (3.2 Gen 2 or above). Did some light research, and really wanted to avoid Renesas from a previous experience. The card also needed to fit into a PCIe x1 slot, and other cards looked... dubious, with their USB C ports (3.0 x1 can't support over 8Gbps). Also don't have many C to C cables or devices that use it. Don't need it to power devices beyond flash drives and just drive a powered USB hub with wireless receivers. Installation was straight forward, and Windows picked it up immediately.

[7.2 x 3.6 x 1"] I made this purchase to replace my current controller on Nexstar 8se; key benefits of this upgrade: - got the USB port for future firmware upgrades - the LCD display is remarkably better than the old one (Nexstar only not +)

[2x Fans] The device works well via USB. I have not successfully run it via eSATA. The system hangs on boot in a A2 state, unable to communicate with the drive but I suspect that's more of a controller card issue than the device itself, since it is not the recommended controller but something left over from another project that I tossed in. I can't blame Oyen for that.

[Latch] This is my first dj controller after days of "YouTube research" and I purchased for use at home, no intention of becoming a dj. It does everything as described, looks and feels great. Nob to browse music feels very slightly wobbly. Everything else feels good, it comes with usb-c to usb-c wire, wish it came with a wall plug as well.
