[USB-A Male] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Plugable USB 3 Universal Docking Station for Dual Monitor in Black color features a hybrid 2-in-1 USB 3.0 and USB-C cable, and supports dual HDMI, and comes with 2 Year Warranty, which is amazing. This laptop docking station's compatibility is universal and it is compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8.x and 7, macOS 10.14 or later, and ChromeOS 100 or later. Plug and play driver installation via Windows Update; manual driver installation on macOS. Dock does not charge host PC. I have already recommended the Plugable USB 3 Universal Docking Station for Dual Monitor to many of my friends and family and several of them have already purchased and used this docking station to manage their dual monitors quite easily and they all love to use this device.

[IPS-Type LCD] Covid, amirite? So the wife and I are both working from home and we've had to take turns at our big dual-monitor setup with a dock. It's no fun being the one left working in the kitchen. So we decided to get one of these as a mini version of the dual-monitor setup. It works great! The monitor itself is of pretty good build quality (surprising for its thinness and lightness) and decent image quality (1080p and good-enough-for-Office image quality). No one on Planet Earth likes fold-y origami covers-as-stands, and this isn't really and better than the rest, but it's OK (we both prefer having it in portrait mode - helps with reading) and it's a really nice robust-feeling folio cover for when you're not using the screen. The screen is USB-powered only and runs on DisplayPort via USB-C. There's apparently some other way to connect using regular old USB-A and some software, but we haven't tried that (both our laptops support DP over USB-C). There's no touchscreen or pen support. Not bad value either, though it it could have been a bit cheaper. Then again, there are plenty of other, cheaper portable monitors on the market purporting to do the same thing, but I suppose I trust Asus (I've been a customer for years) more than brands I've never heard of. Good job Asus!

[2.9 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work from home some days and I always get annoyed at all the setup and cords I have to plug in (power cord, monitors, keyboard, mouse) before I can start working. Now with this docking station I plug in one cord and I'm ready to go! And because it has dual monitor capabilities, I can now invest in a dual monitor setup. The only thing i wish it had was a USB-C port to charge my phone but I can get another USB-A cord pretty inexpensively Altogether this is a fantastic upgrade and a nice sleek product that takes up very little space.

[4:3] I knew this monitor was going to be compatible with the USB-C to USB-C connection on my Lenovo ThinkPad, but I was a bit unsure whether it would require auxiliary power from my Dell Latitude work laptop. The Thunderbolt connection provided the same connectivity, and I could not be more pleased with the quality and simplicity of the Lilliput. So nice to have just this one cable providing the video and power to the portable monitor. Was not planning for touchscreen capabilities on my portable monitor, but for the price, this feature was a great add-on. I put this decision off for way too long...should have bought it month's ago!

[3.585 lb] The ASUS OLED MQ16AH is a phenomenal portable monitor which renders beautiful imagery with fantastic color accuracy. Perfect for when home or traveling, this monitor is lightweight and occupies very little space. Standard buttons on the monitor allow tuning various display settings. A handy shortcut button was also made available to switch between the pre-configured display presets or customizable to perform some other function. Connecting to the monitor was effortless using either of the two included cables, USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to MINI-HDMI. The bezel around the panel was minimal and unobtrusive. The colors are colorful and vibrant. Lightweight and portable. And for extended control and flexibility, the monitor is mountable on a small tripod. Overall, the ASUS OLED MQ16AH is a fantastic, utilitarian portable monitor offering many features in a small, compact design.

[IPS-Type LCD] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP E14 G4 Portable Monitor is exactly what I was hoping for - a decent sized monitor that fits on top of my closed Envy laptop. It provides a useful second extended display for my Envy 27 display. The USB-C cable works perfectly with the USB-C connection from my laptop. The Portable Monitor is light in weight and the foldable stand holds the display at a nice angle. I highly recommend this product.

[TFT LCD] I needed a compact, simple, high-quality, secondary display to sit beside my main monitor. I very much wanted a portable monitor, but not to actually carry around with me, just not an ordinary display with the clutter of power cord/stand/etc. It will mostly be sitting in one place, but the nature of my work involves frequent changes to all the hardware connected to my system, so a degree of portability is great. What I also didn't really want was the usual origami case/cover/stand that comes with most portable monitors. I think they're great, but just not right for this particular usage. Before the Lenovo I tried an Asus Zenscreen, which was pretty awesome, but had a battery (great for true portable use!) but wouldn't power-up if the battery needed charging, which is a hassle I don't need. The Asus also had an HDMI input, which the Lenovo lacks, and also built-in speakers (if I recall correctly). Again, for true portable use, the speakers are almost a must-have, so for some people the Lenovo won't fit the bill. The lack of HDMI support is a little disappointing, for sure, but even though I would have made use of it, it also wasn't a deal breaker (for me). So, yes, if all you need is the display, and your computer/device supports video over USB-C, this is a great option. Minor gripe is the straight plug and length of the supplied USB-C cable. A right-angled plug and another foot or so of length would have been much better. I had to buy a separate cable, and (as I discovered the hard way!) not many USB-C cables support the alt mode of Displayport-over-USB, and the correct cable wasn't cheap! For me, in this particular scenario, this Lenovo is pretty much perfect. For some people it may be a little too basic, so for those people I'd say try the Asus.
