[5 to 90% ()] I have been in the AV/IT Integration space for over 30 years. I found this unit easy to setup and use on my Microsoft and Apple devices. This video adapter features USB Power Delivery, which is an excellent feature, allowing you to power and charge your laptop while you're outputting video to a DVI display. USB Type-C is new universal connectivity standard which combines all of your essential functions into one dynamic port. This adapter worked wonderfully with my USB-C devices, passing DisplayPort video signals my MacBook and Windows devices. This unit is also compatible with Thunderbolt 3 ports, which is great news for the Apple users. What is Included: 1- USB-C to DVI Adapter Note: “I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.”

About the size of an iPad, this well-designed LED panel does just what it says - puts out a decent quantity and quality of diffused light across a reasonable range of color temperatures, without weighing or costing much. And you can power it using standard USB-C PD! It's convenient, too. The controls on the back are simple - on/off, power level, color temperature, and a single memory setting. With screws on two edges (for vertical or horizontal orientation), it's trivial to mount on a light stand, tripod, or mini ball head. And simple to use a hotshoe adapter or video cage for on-camera lighting. I use mine at 50% above my desk for Zoom calls, but it would easily pack for photography or video shoots. I can't wait to see how it compares to my LumiQuest Softbox III! I especially like how large the surface is (compared to other on-camera LED lights), which allows for softer, less harsh shadows. For small product photography, it'd be highly versatile on a boom arm. Pro tip: You can save money (and e-waste) by buying the international version rather than the US version - just provide your own 18W-capable USB PD adapter or power bank!

[USB-C Male] It's a bit annoying that one needs this cable in the first place to power the MixPre while using it as a USB interface. I considered a Hirose power sled adapter but that was going to be a lot of trouble and expense. Against Sound Devices' recommendation I tried a couple workarounds using other types of USB-C adapters designed for other devices and predictably they didn't work. So you do need this cable, and at least it's nice and sturdy with heavy gauge wire and a handy 6' length. As per a YouTube video I use it with a powered USB hub (TenDak) connected to an iPhone with the lightning-USB camera adapter. It's a little kludgey with all the wires and adapters but it does work reliably, allowing me to use very high quality mics and the MixPre's excellent preamps and ADC for recording video on the iPhone with a third party app (ProMovie). This saves a ton of trouble syncing and mixing the tracks post-capture. So overall I can't complain, it does the job I needed!

[1.65 lb] Plug it in, turn it on, and all is well. Splits one video RCA input into 8 outputs. No audio.

[10 Kilohms] Delivers everything you'd want from a mixer this size - USB I/O, 4 XLR inputs (a rarity on something this compact!), and plenty of 1/4 and RCA connectors. The sound coming out of all of that is also no slouch - certainly worthy of the Soundcraft name. I can find no reason not to eagerly recommend this piece of hardware!
