[1.45 lb] This is what you need to get your camera with HDMI into your computer for streaming. I also ordered an IOGEAR HDMI to USB Type-C Video Capture Adapter (BH #IOGUV301 $99.95) and they are functionally identical and also in form. The only difference is the writing on the outside. My mac mini sees both at the same time and they feed OBS together as discreet sources. This is not a high-end Blackmagic or Matrox box, but I have no complaint for the streaming I'm doing.

[5.4 x 5.25 x 1"] Need a HDMI capture card to transfer Z6 video into MacBook Pro for OBS + Zoom. I chose this brand because its hardware design (no CPU usage needed from computer and plug and play). Indeed it delivers as promised, no installation needed, smooth 1080p video flow into MacBook Pro via usb 3.0 + usb A to usb C adaptor. The 2nd HDMI port is handy since I also use it to connect Sound Devices Mixpre 3 ii and use Z6 to control record and stop via HDMI. I also have scratch Audio fed from Mixpre 3 ii to Z6 and transferred through HDMI capture card to computer, in comparison the sound quality via HDMI to computer is not as good as Mixpre 3 ii directly fed into MacBook Pro via usb c. There is lag between HDMI video and Mixpre 3 ii's audio via separate usb; The lag can be synchronized in OBS (around 250 ms). Another note is that this capture card can get really hot. I placed it on a steel candy box, inside the steel box contains a block of refrigerated ice pack. This way the heat generated will be transferred from capture card's aluminum enclosure to steel box, and then absorbed by the ice pack. Temperature will remain relatively low during live streaming / recording session. Another way is to sandwiched capture card between a pair of USB box fans. These fans are really quiet and only make whispering noise. Overall it is very easy to use and delivers excellent quality video.

[0.415 lb] I have a Canon Vixia HF-R500 camcorder. This cable allows me to connect to a usb capture device and live stream video from my laptop or computer to the internet. I use it with several different applications including video chat and video blog. The video quality is better than a standard webcam and I can pan and zoom, etc., and the 15 foot length gives me plenty of room to move around with the camera. Love it!

[1x LC (Fiber)] Very pleased with how the Elgato USB Analog Video Capture Device works. Have been effortlessly converting old VHS tapes and even some old Beta tapes from the 80's. Had a little trouble with the initial set up but a call to Elgato's service line put me through quickly to a very helpful technician who walked me through the process in a few minutes.

[ (3.5 W)] I've owned the Elgato USB Analog Video Capture Device for nearly two months and have already used it to capture many client videos. This included 25 hours of Hi8 tapes for one client, and 37 minutes of VHS tapes from another client. The capture quality of the audio and video has been perfect, and the operation of the software and hardware is easy. After finishing a capture and before saving the MP4 video, the software allows me to trim the beginning and end, to remove extra blue screen or other superfluous video, a feature that I used a lot. Elgato worked perfectly on my desktop, which I had rebuilt for me in early 2020 so it would be compatible with Win 10. Unfortunately, I had some problems with the HP Z Book laptop I just bought, however. First, I had immediately upgraded the Z Book to Win 11, which wants to save any new file to One Drive. Unfortunately, One Drive has a 5 GB capacity and when it fills up, you're encouraged to buy more storage space. Video, of course, requires a lot of storage space. Users of Elgato Video Capture, therefore, need to remember to click Preferences in the Video Capture window and select the preferred storage location for their video files. A bigger problem was that Elgato was not able to receive the video portion of the capture on the Z Book. The audio came through, but not the video. I contacted Elgato, and a member of their support staff worked with me via e-mail, sending me instructions. There seemed to be no solution, but the support technician worked with me tirelessly, and the final instruction today worked perfectly. I much appreciate his persistence in helping me solve this problem.

[2048] I got this to house three BMD Capture cards. They connect to a MacBook Pro for video capture from three cameras which are streamed via OBS.

[Eurorack Module] Captured VHS TAPE with plenty of problems on the tape, composite video + audio IN to SDI OUT, in to Blackmagic capture card. over two hours of capture didn't drop a frame, kept perfect sync of Video and Audio. when there where video problems on the tape, the TBC freeze the video for that amount of time. Video thru the TBC, is exactly as the source, (unless you want to change it in the proc AMP). Very Nice control software installed on windows 10 the only problem is B&H Website and the phone assistant said that the power adaptor was not included. but it is.. I bought a separate power adaptor for no reason.. (now I have one spare..)
