[Mono] This Pro 8 Hex is used at Clear Channel Stadium in Lancaster, CA. I'm the Public Address announcer for the JetHawks, the single A affiliate of the Houston Astros. This Headworn Mic is a replacement for the original at the stadium. The quality definitely hits a home run!

[3.5 lb (1.6 kg)] I use this as a professional airshow and sports public address announcer. This THS box provides all the capability needed for my diverse environments and needs. I used it right our of the box for a live airshow event that was livestreamed online and audio around the world on the armed forces network...flawless operation and no issues. Does everything it claims it will without complications.

[0.9 lb] When doing public address announcing you can not accidentally leave on your mic. I use this in the press to talk mode and it makes sure I am only heard when I want to be.

[Cardioid] This microphone does it all very well. I have used mine for over a decade for use with computer speech recognition, ham radio, public address, vocal music performance, and general speech recording. I am a microphone junkie, with many other quality microphones and this one does it all well. Solid feel with enough weight and ballast for hand-held use, with a rich, expensive-looking, extremely durable finish. Money well spent. TT
