The first protector was installed right after I bought the Nikon D7000 it did a great job of protecting the LCD screen when I banged up my camera against my car by accident. [2x Cold Shoe] I recently purchased the Canon R10 from B&H. This camera's LCD rotates and can be stored flush in the back of the camera where the screen is not exposed during storage. I have used the Vello screen protector in the past and this version for the R10 works as advertised. My concern was that the screen would not fit back into the cavity the same way as it does without the protector but it fits perfectly clicking back into place. The touch screen with the Vello glass in place works without any problem and is as sensitive as without. Took 2 tries to center the glass but was able to remove and recenter without too much trouble. Highly recommended.

It includes great tips to make sure the LCD is completely clean and dust-free before you apply it. If you follow the instructions application is a breeze. Highly recommended.

[Carabiner] For a first time camera owner, the Transparent Edge-to-Edge Glass LCD Optical Screen Protector for Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX10K Camera has been absolutely perfect. It was very easy to apply, and I have noticed zero air bubbles pop up since I first put it on. Easy to clean.

[0.06 lb] Although I’ve only had the protector in use for about a week, it seems like it will do what is was designed to do. It’s pricey for what it is, but I wanted glass and not some sort of plastic film or polycarbonate for my A99II. Installation was a breeze using the included wipe and microfiber cloth. I also used my Giottos Rocket Blaster to remove any particles that might be on the LCD screen just prior to installation. Once I dropped the glass onto the screen it magically adhered itself without issue or bubbles. It is pretty much an exact fit for the screen, so it pays to have steady hands when lining it up. Looking at my screen as I write this, I missed squaring off the PG ever so slightly to my LCD by about the thickness of the glass itself, no big deal and not worth trying to reapply. All in all, I’m happy with my purchase and the protection I feel it will provide.

[Glossy] I’m very happy with this screen protector and LCD shade.   I always put a screen protector on my LCD screens.  They have protected my cameras numerous times.  And considering the cost of replacing an LCD screen, I would much rather have a screen protector installed for its added protection.  I’m very happy with this glass screen protector.  It is crystal clear and was easy to install.  I had no issues.  It fits perfectly and you forget it is even there.  The Sony A73 I use has a touch screen LCD and it still works great with the screen on, I’ve experienced no problems or latency with the screen installed.  The specs say the glass screen has nanocoating to prevent fingerprints and smudges, and I agree.  It also is good at preventing glare which is appreciated.   I’m happy with the sunshade too.  I live in sunny South Florida and a LCD shade is necessary.  And this shade is perfect for my needs by making shooting outdoors much better.  I can see what I’m doing.  I love the design of this screen protector and shade too.  The shade attaches magnetically right to the screen protector’s metallic border.  I think that is an excellent design.  It makes it so easy to put the shade on and take it off.  You just align it properly and it sticks right on.  Very easy to do.  I also love that there are no adhesives and glue used with this kit.  That’s great.  Another nice feature is the shade is “spring activated”.  Meaning when you open the top shade, the side shades “pop open” into place automatically with a small spring on each side.  That’s cool, and makes using it fast and simple.  I appreciate that.  I’m very happy with this protective screen/shade combo.  It’s been great.  [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

[Glass] This super thin glass screen protector has been on my Leica M for the past 6 months without problems. Even though the M240 screen is scratch resistant, I bought a very worn, used body with several noticeable scratches on the LCD. I installed the protector to prevent further scratches to the base screen LCD glass; 1-2 deep scratches are still visible when the LCD is off, but not at all when in actual use. I don't notice existing light scratches, but I am not looking for them with the LCD off, and none ever stand out when the screen is in use. The protector fits the screen perfectly. It is very thin and once installed, it looks original, almost disappears and I cannot tell that it is there. For me this works much better than the protectors that use double sided tape around the perimeter. Installation was slightly finicky, requiring accurate placement. Read and follow the instructions as there isn't much wiggle room once it is down. Overall I like this protector and plan to install them on all my cameras.
