I used this with an micro clamp to mount my VF monitor on an FS-7. It has a wider range of motion than the original mount. The monitor can be turned parallel to the camera as well.

[8.27 lb] Everyone in my family is addicted to multi-monitor setups. They help you be more productive. I love ergotron products and am very familiar with them.. The other reviewer is a bit off with his specifications. this is the perfect grommet mount kit for the standard LX or the LX DUAL-DIRECT dual which has a clamp base about 6 inches across and has one articulate arm with a special piece you can mount two seperate monitors to. This is not the right grommet mount kit for a LX dual monitor setup (that setup features two independant, articulate arms, and the front of the clamp base measures 7 inches across. So measure the widest part of the clamp base for your LX setup, and if it's about 6 inches you are on the right track!!

[4.535 lb] I have a really heavy 32 monitor from Samsung (model S32D850T), which weighs 20.72 lbs without the stand. I had been searching for a monitor mount that was a reasonable price which could hold such a heavy monitor, when I came across the Gabor DM-550. It is only rated for up to 19.8 lbs, but I decided to give it a try. The product comes packed very well, with all of the parts clearly labeled. My desk is just over 3 thick around the edge, and I had a problem with another mount that I had bought, as the clamp didn't open up wide enough. The Gabor DM-550 has an adjustable clamp to accommodate thicker desks, which made it easy to edge-mount the product. Assembly was pretty straightforward, thanks to instructions with clear text and accompanying diagrams every step of the way. It is amazing how many products nowadays just have diagrams without text, and you spend so much time trying to figure out exactly what to do. I really liked how the components each get assembled separately: attach clamp on desk, attach arms to clamp, attach plate on monitor, slide monitor onto arm. Then just tighten up all the set-screws, and you're good to go! After a quick adjustment to the tension, my huge monitor was floating above my desk without issue. I love that I can easily raise/lower it, and also swing the monitor around if I need to show someone something without needing them to come around behind my desk. The well designed built-in cable management was an unexpected bonus. It is great not having all the wires hanging out all over the place. The monitor mount also allows you to rotate the display so it is in portrait instead of landscape orientation. I gave that a try, but having a 32 monitor in portrait mode required too much looking up-and-down. I'll just stick to landscape mode! Overall I am really happy with this monitor mount. [4 x 3 x 2"] This is the kind of thing you buy and then look for ways to use it for everything. I currently use it to mount a 7 field monitor to a manfrotto tripod via a manfrotto super clamp. The arm is very sturdy and works like magic.

[Aluminum] The Axler 5.5 Mega Ball Clamp Arm has been a good addition to my mounting kits. I've found some cool uses for it. I've used my 7-inch monitor on it, my little mochi light, and my favorite application has been using it with a cell phone mount to allow me to shoot vertical video simultaneously with my iPhone. I love the arm on the side, it makes it super quick to adjust to a new position. The heaviest thing I have thrown on it is my 7-inch monitor with some slim batteries and I haven't had any issues with stability. I do wish that it had those cutouts so you could tighten it further. Thus far it hasn't been an issue though and I've used it on a couple of full-day shoots. Overall, I'm pleased with the extra options this mount provides. [Aluminum] I bought this to use on a Sirui 5-section monopod and Wimberly gimbal, which needs a vertical arca style clamp. This is reasonably light and strong. I use it for bird photography with my current setup: Oly EM1m2 + 300mm prime. As an added benefit, I can reverse the gimbal and stuff the monopod in a belt-attached lens pouch for easy transport.
