[2.29 lb] I'm a cinematographer and regularly use glidecam hd-2000 with dslr's such as 5D's and 1Dx mark II, I also often use a Glidecam Hd-4000 with a C300 mark II, and even own a giant came-tv vest and stabilizer rig with wires for batteries and monitors going through it. I hate that big thing because there's no real freedom of motion for rising shots etc and it takes forever but i'm sure for walking shots on a movie set or something it's just right. Anyway I'm a strong believer in no vest because you get so much more shots you can capture. This stabilizer is amazing in every way. It is super portable which is important so you have it. Faster to setup. Stable when set down (much more than glidecam since those can tip to the side easier than this one). This looks better, and is carbon so more efficient with weight just for balancing, smaller shaft and bearing means less friction introduced through the bearing. It's extremely smooth. Has smooth position knobs without the extra unnecessary locking screws on the glidecam. This has exactly what you need with nothing extra. it's simple to start on and excellent enough for a pro. It can handle my 5D mark III with a 16-35mm 2.8 L which is a heavy setup. It even just scraped by at the edge of balancing same camera with a 50mm 1.2L. I plan on getting some extra weights to make sure I'm set with various cameras such as if I have to put a lav receiver on the hotshoe for single mic work solo shoot with mic running into the camera. I wish they made an identical but just slightly bigger version to compete with glidecam hd2000 size but most small stabilizers handle fine if you add more weight to them. Don't hesitate to buy this. I would recommend this as the most important item to shoot with over a slider, over a tripod (shots need motion people!)

[Aluminum] I use a SmallRig shoulder strap to attach to my DJI Ronin RS4 Pro gimbal stabilizer so I don't use the shoulder straps with this Tilta support vest, but I do use the belt which is well made and solid. When you tuck the tripod at the bottom of the stabilizer into the holder on this belt, you get a chance to rest and you can get very steady shots if you are not moving. But you cannot use this belt if you are walking. The up-and-down movement of your body introduces too much vertical motion. So I am glad I have this support vest and use the belt even though I like having the SmallRig strap more than the shoulder straps that came with this vest. The belt also provides some lower back support that helps when you're holding the stabilizer.

[4.45 lb] I use this with my Canon 60D with a RODE video mic attached to top shoe. Researched this product a lot before purchasing. I can usually film for about two minutes straight until my arm is fatigued enough that I need to take a break. For longer shots I recommend getting the vest and arm. I have tried the Sony NX5U (5 lbs. without battery) on this stabilizer, this is a bit too heavy to place on the device. Once again, great for DSLR (with/without vest and arm), not good for larger videocameras unless you have vest and arm. I am able to get awesome, smooth shots with this stabilizer. Everyone I have shown the footage to says, WOW! You will not regret this purchase, it is probably one of the best I have made recently. Took me about two hours to get perfectly balanced and now all I need to do is make fine adjustments now and then, which is so easy. If you are shooting with DSLR and are on the fence about this, get it, try it out, you will be impressed. It takes time to balance at first and then a lot of practice flying it. Once you get some experience with it you will want to use it often.

[Black] I have a good Canon camera, needed one Video stabilizer for better quality videos, with this Revo ST-500 I could very easily set and get the desired results. I take photos and videos on family occasions at home and outdoor.

[PC] This product was ready to use, almost straight from the box. I hooked it up to my camera right away, and the ease of use and quality of my video with this stabilizer is amazing! It was affordable and will make such a huge difference in the quality of my videos.

[Glossy White] Just beginning to learn how to shoot video with the stabilizer. Impressed with all the adjustments and the quality feel of the support. Wish it had a bit more instructional manual with it, but making up for that by watching online tutorials.
