[HDMI: 8-Channel] Since I got my recent computer in 2013, I've been trying to get an output to my TV using the normal composite output, which the video card sadly doesn't have. (Although S-Video is an option for my TV as well, it sometimes doesn't detect it properly.) After having tried 3 other VGA to composite scan converters, I thought I would try this Gefen scaler and use the HDMI output on my video card. And it seems I made the right choice at last! While the previous scan converters suffered with a somewhat stuttery PAL output, the Gefen scaler isn't really all that bad at it. It is a little bit stuttery here and there, but nothing to get in a fuss about. When I watched a TV show using it, it wasn't noticeable at all. The image quality is pretty fine, and like it promised, it gives you a choice of resolutions. You'd probably want to stick to about 1024 768 pixels to read stuff from your computer, or otherwise it gets too tiny for your television. I tried both the S-Video and composite outputs, and they were both very good. I also tried it with my XBOX 360, and it worked fine with that too. The underscan setting is just right for my TV, if you want to get the whole image on your screen without anything cropped. It was nice to see that the power supply works from 100 to 240 V, and it also came with a set of Australian style pins, which I was happy to use! (It also had USA, British and possibly European ones too.) The metal case seems rugged and the screw in style HDMI plug is a good idea to keep it from being pulled out. All in all, it seems very well made, and it looks pretty nice as well.

[SDXC] I use this card to hold video files on my tablet computer. I have always had good experience with PNY microSD cards, and this one works perfect as I expected. Also, B&H has it at a great price.

[18 Gb/s] Updated graphics card on computer used for light photo and video editing and recording music. Only had it for a couple of weeks but works well.

[24 GB] An absolute BEAST of a video card! That is both a positive and a negative. The thing is the longest video card I have ever seen. Many computer cases would not be able to fit this card. I had to modify my mid-tower case to be able to even install the card! Runs quiet and cool, barely has gotten out of the 40C range even when gaming. A stress test did warm it up but even then, didn't break 60C. No framing, runs everything I have played so far at max settings.

[1] I have Panasonic S1, record video and shoot still in raw, the transfer from card to computer is seamless, 20GB plus in less then 60s!

[SSD] My first ground loop from computer audio card to powered monitor speakers was corrected by plugging the monitors in to the same outlet as the computer. Then I upgraded my video card to a much more powerful one and the buzz came back when the video card was churning. Back to the internet to find a solution and this product seemed to be my best bet. It worked like a charm, the buzz is gone again and I don't hear any degradation in sound quality. Highly recommend.
