Video Display Glasses

[0.45 lb] The hoodman hoodloupe is terrific. It has removed the need for me to put on my glasses to view the LCD display for image sharpness. The adjustable diopter is fantastic.

[1920 x 1080] I've been using a pair of LV5350's now for several years. They are hugely capable, if not far more complex than the LV5333's I upgraded from. It is important to note that you need to purchase licences to enable the some of the features you may want. It does mean you can configure what you need for now to keep the cost down and add later as requirements increase. Fully configured it is a very capable, but pricey unit. The fan is a bit noisier than their LV5333 predecessor, however, but not distressingly so. Some of the Major options are (most are $800-$1000): 4K Video Signal - LV5350-SER28 4K/12G Video Signal Compatible Function for LV5350 HDR analysis - LV5350-SER23 In addition to HLG and PQ per ITU-R BT.2100, this option also supports level monitoring of S-log3 HDR signals. Level management can be made using the assumed luminance (cd/m2) in a display considering OOTF. The video waveform includes the HDR scale added to the IRE scale. In the CINEZONE display, the luminance distribution of the HDR area can be easily confirmed with the SDR area shown in monochrome, and the HDR content with a color according to the brightness. Customizable Layout - LV5350-SER26 Users can size and position all video displays, waveforms, vectorscopes, gamut views, audio tools, etc as desired to optimize the screen for any specific workflow or user. Two input signals can be displayed simultaneously, or one input signal can be displayed on multiple screens.

Awesome video glasses - includes dark shield (there are actually two safety glass shields included, one clear, one dark). The dark one is handy if you want to watch a movie in a bright environment and want it to be more the the Cinemizer (another product I have) - I used it today with my DJI Inspire drone and it worked great (plugged it into the HDMI out on the DJI controller). Remember this is not the other Moverio 300 that has an android based controller, this unit is just a pair of video glasses that takes any HDMI / USB-C input. You can plug it into anything with the right adaptor- computer, iphone, etc. Im very happy with it!!!

[0.35 lb] These packets are so handy to have to clean both our glasses and our camera/video lenses. We put some in each car and several in the camera bags and video bags.

[50mm f/1] Before I purchased the Night Vision Monocular I wanted to know if I could use it with glasses or without. I am farsighted and need reading glasses. Customer service at Luna Optics responded to my E Mail quickly and said yes the diopter correction in the eye piece would work, and it does. I can see the display clearly without glasses, allowing the rubber eye cup to be extended. The rubber eye cup does fold up quickly if you do wear glasses and can still see the entire display. The display is very clear both day and night. With some ambient light, the IR illuminator is not required. For long range (200 yards) the adjustable IR illuminator can focus the IR beam to a spot or broader area coverage. Then, I E-Mailed customer service and asked about battery life and they recommended a Power Pack. I measured the current drain in each mode: 1. Unit on, IR Low, Video off, WiFi off = 390 mA 2. Unit on, IR High, Video off, WiFi off = 940 mA 3. Unit on, IR Med Video on, WiFi on =600 mA 4. Unit on, IR High, Video on, WiFi on = 970 mA The Capacity for the batteries I have: CR123A -1500 mAh, RCR123 - 800 mAh ,Power Bank 10,000 mAh For the above modes these batteries will last: 1. RC123A 2.1 hrs, CR123 - 3.8 hrs, Power Bank 25 hrs 2. RC123A 0.9 hrs, CR123 -1.6 hrs, Power Bank 10.6 hrs 3. RC123A 1.3 hrs, CR123 - 2.5 hrs, Power Bank 16.7 hrs 4. RC123A 0.8hrs, CR123 - 1.5 hrs, Power Bank 10.3 hrs For my intermittent use, which is Mode 1, the rechargeable CR123 batteries are fine (EBL16). When I tripod mount the unit, I used the Power Bank. The optical 6X magnification is fine hand held, but when using the digital zoom at 36x a tripod is needed for good video and photos.
