[IPS-Type LCD] I upgraded my monitor from an old 24-Inch to this 32-Inch monitor and it made a huge difference in my home office setup. I've had other ViewSonic monitors and have loved them so I decided to go with a safe card again. ViewSonic never lets me down

[91 ppi] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Viewsonic TD2455 24" touch monitor in order to upgrade from an older Viewsonic 22" touch monitor. The additional features provided by the TD2455 were beyond my expectations. I use the monitor with a laptop and a docking station in order to see a bigger display. By using the USB-C connection to the monitor and my laptop, I was able to eliminate the docking station and all the wires it entailed. Specifically, the single USB-C connection provides power to my laptop and controls the video and touch functions of the monitor. The monitor also has two built-in downstream USB-A ports. I use one of these ports to plug in the unifying receiver for my full-size wireless keyboard and mouse. I love the new monitor, its beautiful display, and the less clutter resulting from fewer wires needed. My only disappointment is that the USB-C cable was not included in the box with the monitor. I had to purchase it separately.

[1280 x 800] I consider multi-touch function than display quality for a portable monitor. The Viewsonic TD1655 gives me a good multi-touch in a reasonable price. Recommended.

[16:9] I use this monitor as part of a two monitor combo (other monitor is a viewsonic 24 vertical monitor) and switch this monitor between a mac mini and an xBox series S. I routinely play Fortnite, Halo, and other games on the xBox and it is fantastic. There is no smudging at all, colors and contrast are crisp. This setup is amazing and its all I need. The xBox scales to all games I play and this monitor handles it nicely. I run it at 1080p (which is more than enough for these older eyes). It isn't meant for high-end 4K or 8K output - but for what it is - its a great product. Highly recommend. And B&H - as always, fantastic.

[Yes, Kensington] I bought this as an upgrade from my 24” Viewsonic monitor. Setup perfectly out of the box and used my HDMI cable from the older model. The thin bezel allowed the 27” to fit in the available space Very nicely. After being on for 24 hours I calibrated it with my Datacolor colorimeter and the result is excellent. Very simple calibration.

[10' / 3 m] Working great to attach my 24 Viewsonic monitor to a MacBook Pro at much lower cost than Apple solutions.

[1366 x 768] The Viewsonic TD1655 worked perfectly out-of-the-box including the touch screen. Didn't even need calibration adjustments. In five minutes I was up-and-running, INCLUDING extended display (it is the upper-left in the photo). If you don't need a touchscreen, Viewsonic has models at lower price points. It fits in my backpack briefcase and my messenger bag and has a protective cover that snaps on magnetically. I had borrowed, tried or bought-and returned four portable monitors, none of which worked without some effort. One didn't work at all despite an hour of trying everything I could think of (and it wasn't cheap). Another required a separate power source - for a portable monitor? Seriously, they expect me to carry another power supply on the road? From those experiences I looked at the specs of a couple dozen more, and then decided to try the Viewsonic TD1655. It is head-and-shoulders above all the others, even ones that were more expensive. The only possible exception was the Lenovo M14. I have used Thinkpads exclusively for years, currently have four between my wife and myself (all Yogas). I really wanted it to be the one, but the smaller screen was a deal breaker. After receiving the Viewsonic I discovered, besides the larger screen, that it had better features and more adjustments. Search no more and don't waffle about a few dollars. This is the only portable monitor to buy.

[OLED] I could not be more pleased with this ViewSonic product. The OLED screen produces a gorgeous image. The unit is feather light. The integrated stand is much sturdier than I anticipated. I am finding myself to be much more productive using this portable screen than using the Xybec Tri-Screen that I was previously using. It's simpler to carry; it's simpler to set up, and it has far, far better image quality. In shorter, where has this been all my life? I agree with some reviewers that the cover that comes with the monitor does not readily attach. To protect the monitor when I am carrying it, I am using instead a Ruggard ultra-thin sleeve that I ordered with the ViewSonic monitor.

[Yes] The Viewsonic VG1655 is an amazing monitor. It feels solid and the image is bright, sharp, saturated, and truly gorgeous. The screen's 16:9 aspect ratio allows multiple app windows to be displayed simultaneously while remaining readable, even with the Windows Scale display setting at 100% rather than 125%. The rear has a swing-out support that can prop up the monitor horizontally or vertically. The magnetic snap-on screen protector is actually quite rigid when mounted and should provide ample protection. The included cables should handle any connection scheme. My application is as a part of a telescope control computer that can be taken into the field. The computer is a mini-PC that normally runs off a 12Vdc adapter. The monitor can be powered from one of the computer's USB ports. With a 12V/6000mAh lithium battery, the entire package will run for about four hours. Haven't tried it yet with a 12V sealed lead acid battery, but I suspect up time to be longer. Overall, the package is a bit more cluttered than using a laptop, but the performance and flexibility are greater, IMO. Minor criticisms: 1) the included cables are all longer, thicker, and more rigid than seems necessary, but that might be an advantage for some, and 2) built-in speaker volume and quality are a bit wimpy, but they are included and still consistent with how the monitor will be used. The Viewsonic VG1655 is one of the few products I've purchased that so well exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.

[23.8"] Needed a larger screen for my home setup and decided to go with this monitor. It's a newer model from ViewSonic and I like that it has a built in docking station so I don't have to think about buying one separately. I also like the ergonomics, which made it easier to get it setup.
