I was stuck on a job with a HD pipeline push camera and My DVR (Digital Video Recorder) was not operating.I had no way to capture the work in progress until I purchased the Dazzle. [56dB] I bought this JVC deck to archive my high definition DVR recordings, and this is the most efficient solution that I could find! It works perfectly! I output HD component from my cable box's DVR to the Blackmagic Design's analog to SDI converter. Then I take the HD-SDI output from that converter to the JVC deck's HD-SDI input. The result is that you can record 480i, 720p, and 1080i signals to the JVC deck! Upon playback, the signal is upconverted to 1080p when you use the HDMI output on the deck. The result is beautiful HD recordings! There is finally a solution to archive SD and HD shows on your DVR. Note that the JVC deck does not have timer recording capabilities, so you still must record to the DVR first. 5 |

[HDMI] I saw the YouTube video on this switcher, which convinced me to purchase it. The results are better than I expected I purchased this switcher to hook up a dvr/cable box, a tuner, a blu-ray player, and a vcr, to my tv (four inputs on the switcher's backside). I have a fifth input on the switcher's frontside if I should need it. The indicator light for the dvr/cable box (input one) is normally on. If I turn on any of the other device, this switcher will automatically switch. This is so nice, that I don't even have to use the switcher's remote control. 5 |
