Vizio Computer Monitor Driver

[Black] We needed a good way to transport a 28” Vizio LED monitor for shows. This bag is perfect! Plenty of room for cords and stuff in the outside pocket. Good zipper and handles. Seems like a great value for the money.

[5 V] No driver needed, plug and works. Didn't try how the different modes, cannot tell from that perspective. Sounds quality is good, convinience to adjust sensitivity and volume. The monitor plug can even used to listen to computer as an output channel. Sound quality is perfect to my ear. (I'm not very picky on that, I mostly use it for zoom meeting now) Only thing really nice to have is if they could add a 3/8 or 1/4 to 5/8 adapter to make that hole more usable. I found that metal frame base (although it's super nice quality) come with is too big on my desk, and block my computer screen. Have to put aside with a tripod something. Luckily I have something support 5/8 screw, but still feel that an 1$ add in in the box (of their cost, I imagine) would be a really big plus for me.

[0.2 lb] Plugged it in a PCIe slot and restarted the computer. Everything just worked and no custom driver needed.

[0.23 lb] I've been using this product for 2 years and it has worked great. I bought a new computer with Windows 8 and to my dismay found out there is no Windows 8 driver. Hopefully this will change soon. So if you want a great device for up to Windows 8, you've found it. But don't buy it for Windows 8.

[±0.5 dB] After watching the review from Audioholics, I knew I was buying the best amp. This is an integrated amplifier...meaning it has a preamp and power amp in the same unit. There is no tuner (receiver). You can connect a turntable, tuner, and CD. It also has an optical and coax inputs but the coolest thing is the USB input. I ran a 20 ft USB cable to my Mac. There are instructions to download and install a USB driver which was easy. So here's the cool part. You change the sound preferences in your computer to the newly installed USB driver. On the Yamaha, press the Pure Direct button. Back on your computer, fire up iTunes and enjoy. This USB/Pure Direct configuration bypasses the computers sound card and plays the music as the sound engineer intended. I have the sample rate for the USB drive set to 48kHz (via the Audio MIDI) which is the most common frequency used by sound engineers. The Yamaha supports two sets of speakers. I have four beefy JBL's connected with a big Polk sub-woofer. The sound is crystal clear.

[0.42 A] Needed this for use with an Intel NUC computer that only had one HDMI out. Grabbed the driver from StarTech's website, plugged the adapter in and connected to second monitor...it runs like it was built in from the factory. Solved several problems for me.

I've been using this product for 2 years and it has worked great. I bought a new computer with Windows 8 and to my dismay found out there is no Windows 8 driver. Hopefully this will change soon. So if you want a great device for up to Windows 8, you've found it. But don't buy it for Windows 8.

[0.75 MB] As many of the other reviewers of this product mention, I too went to search for a driver. After wasting time doing that, I realized that when I restarted my computer, it just magically recognized the device and when I inserted a DVD, or CD, I was able to burn them to my computer. It seems to work on my Windows 7 and Mac operating systems just fine. I have a MacBook Pro without a built-in CD/DVD drive, so this works nicely. I am running OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 (mac) and Windows 7 in Parallels and have been able to burn discs nicely. I would advise forgetting about the usual driver headache that we come to expect when we get new devices and if your computer does not recognize/"see" the device in Finder (mac) or Explorer (windows) when you first plug it in, try a restart and try to plug it in and start playing with it! Sometimes we like to complicate things that do not ask to be complicated...at least that was my experience.

[USB-A 2.0] After upgrading to Windows 10 my HP computer the built-in sound card stopped working and I couldn't find a driver to work with Windows 10, this small device was simple to install, just plug the device to a USB port and installed it's own driver automatically and it was up and running in no time. I don't mind the device sticking out is just like any USB drive.
