[4.905 lb] Now this Mic is AWESOME considering its low price. Designed for voice recording and instruments. Gives you that FAT Sound you always wanted. The quality is about the same with more features. Shelf Filter and a (-10dB Cut). It now uses (2) AA Batteries - Finally! My only complaint? The Foam Windscreen is loose and can fall off. Who cares! This thing is great.

[2 GHz ] I use this incredible ministudio for voice and instruments. If you use Audition, Pro Tools or produce a radio web show it is very easy to use. In combination with my Blue Microphone the sound it is clear, deep and strong. Love it!

[3.25 oz / 92 g] These are easy to use microphones. I use them in university classrooms for voice lift and lecture capture. I had a lot of battery failure a couple of years ago but they have redesigned them and the batteries are more stable and end user replaceable. They have to be held close to your mouth and you have to use the velcro neck band. The neck band is easy to use but can get a bit itchy if you don't line the velcro up.

[2] Let's say 1200.00 it's not inexpensive, but worth each penny. The voice of the singer of my band Madame R, Rossana Torres, became better, clear excellent quality of sound. I tried to put my Taylor acoustic guitar. I never had a sound like this, passing thru pedals, di, etc. I recommend this Avalon.
