[39 mm] Nice quality. Bought it for a Voigtlander Nokton 35mm 1.2 II. Got to protect that glass!

[Manual Focus] I bought the Voigtlander Nokton 23mm f/1.2 to use on my Fujifilm X-Pro3 and I was sold. I liked it so much that as soon as the 35mm was back in stock, I ordered it, and I love it, too. I am really enjoying using manual focus and the rendering from both lenses is very appealing to my eye. The build quality of these lenses is first rate. I think they're worth every penny. Don't get me wrong, the Fujifilm lenses are wonderful, but the Voigtlanders are fantastic as well. If Voigtlander comes out with more X-mount lenses, I'm buying them.

[0.36 lb] This thing basically turns my Voigtlander 35 1.2 Aspherical into a macro lens. Very cool mechanism and seems very well built. Worth the steep price point!

[Sony E] I bought the Voigtlander 21mm f/1.4 Nokton for my Sony a7III a couple weeks ago and after reviewing my photos, I bought the 50mm f/1.2 Nokton also. I have used manual lenses on 35mm film cameras for most of my life, and I prefer manual lenses for creative control. I've never been able to get a great photo when relying only on my camera CPU to make these decisions for me. It's a welcome relief to know that once I adjust aperture and focus on the lens, it's impossible for my camera to change my settings before I press the shutter release. I own the Sony 50mm 1.2 GM, so I know what optical perfection looks like, but I'd still rather use these manual Voigtlanders. The results are great, and the sun stars are killer too.

[Nikon Z] I've had several macro lenses over the years and this is my second Voigtlander after the 50mm 1.2. From the first photo of my cat to the detail on my coffee mug, this lens POPS. f2 looks fantastic, f8 a little more structured. Obviously better on a tripod, but I had luck shooting at 1/25th handheld with my a7III- a total game changer with macro photography! This lens will be incredible for food photography.

[Sony E] I have a Sony A7R3, and I purchased the e-mount Voigtlander 40mm 1.2 lens from B&H and I must say I LOVE the pics this lens takes. The colors are rich, deep and sharp. I have an autofocus lens which is also very good, yet I use this manual lens more often yet it is better in color saturation and separation of background, which is amazing! I still was able to get a clear shot of a dog that could not stand still with this manual lens along with IBS. But to put it simply I use this lens mainly for everything, I would only use an autofocus lens unless it's a fast moving object. You would think I might not be using the full capabilities of my A7R3 combined with a GM or G lens or other third party lens, but I'm very happy with this Voigtlander lens and it's size, and it's smoothness when focusing. Very well engineered! There is a certain uniqueness to this lens and it's pictures :-)

[Manual Focus] I have had the Voigtlander Nokton 40mm f/1.2 lens on my Leica M10 for about a week or so and it is great. I agree with all the other positive reviews. I use it mostly for street and landscape/seascape photography and it is the perfect focal length for those. There is one very minor thing that I don't care for, and that is the distance scale on the focusing ring, feet are in red which are hard to read on the black lens.. That should not be a deal breaker or discourage anyone from getting this lens.

[Aluminum] I bought this to mount a Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4 to my Fuji X Pro2. Given the number of lens adapters out there I took chance and picked this one for the low price. It has worked out just fine, the Voigtlander focuses tack sharp on it with no flares or artifacts. For the price this was definitely the right choice.

[Yes] I compared this to my Nikon Z 35mm and the Voigtlander is sharper in the corners when viewed at 100%, and the rendition is very similar. The only downsides to the Lanthar is lack of weather resistance and autofocus. I liked it enough to sell my Z 35mm.
