[-20 dB] I needed an external volume control for my KRK Rokit speakers I purchased for a computer desktop setup. The PMC-II is working great! I even had some questions about the product and Senal's computer service was top notch, I would not hesitate to buy another one if ever needed.

[Horizontal] I've had these speakers for 4 years, and now I've passed them on to my cousin. He absolutely loves them! I had this hooked up to my gaming/streaming computer and it works so well! My favorite thing about this product is the puck that allows you to control the volume and bass coming from the speakers (not computer volume). Having that physical control was perfect for me since I always had to turn the bass down at night. Overall I would recommend this underrated speaker to everyone except for those who's job is specifically editing noise.

[1 User] It's a great headphone amplifier, but what's also nice is it has one output for monitor speakers, with a volume knob control. We send this to the powered speakers in our school's edit lab, making it very easy to adjust volume independently to the headphones or the speakers at our Instructor station iMac.

[2-Way] As there is no volume twirl on it, which is located in the back of the speaker, and probably that is the only con of these speakers (but maybe not because they look the same) I set it on the middle from the back - 50%, and I control the sound volume from my pc's keyboard, I am using it around 20-30% of the system volume. It has a really good quality audio and can get really really loud!

[2-Band EQ ] I use this amplifier to do two things, really. It acts as both a volume controller and an output selector for my computer's audio. I purchased this AMP800 to compliment my new Sony MDR-XB500 headphones, and it does a great job of it (they sound awesome). It lets me seamlessly route my music to either my headphones or my desktop speakers and lets me do so without having to adjust the volume control in Windows. The volume/balance control knobs are very smooth and don't give any crackle or static when adjusting. It's got output ports for each channel on both the front and rear of the unit which makes it really convenient to hook up cables where it's easiest to access them (my headphones are connected to the front and my speakers are connected to the rear). The built-in amplifiers are capable of powering all 8 ports (4 independent amplifiers with 2 ports each) simultaneously, if I ever felt the need to hook that many headphones/devices to it. Easily accessible source input volume/balance controls, independent source selector switches, and individual output volume controls with LED level meters made this an easy choice for me. The build quality seems to be pretty decent for the price, and the sound quality is really good. The unit is light weight, so if you need portability, this should be easy to transport. My only gripe is that it requires an adapter for what I use it for; The inputs are individual 1/4 mono plugs, so I had to buy a Y-cable (3.5mm stereo to dual 1/4 mono). B&H has one, and it was relatively inexpensive, so not a real problem. Also keep in mind that all the outputs on the AMP800 are 1/4, so if your headphones have 3.5mm plugs, you'll need adapters (I already had a few, so again, not a problem for me). Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase, and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

[IEC 15 A] I have two sets of speakers, one indoor and one outdoor that needed separate volume control but with audio coming from the same source. Worked perfect.

[0.3 lb] These are great speakers! Easy hook-up. Sound great and lots of volume from my individual volume control. Many different options for mounting and securing. I will purchase more of these in the future to replace my existing, cheap! speakers.

[0.1%] I'm using a legacy power amp to power my outdoor speakers as a separate zone and did not want to purchase an expensive preamp. This component let me take the line out from my receiver and sonos directly to the 300 watt power amp and control the volume. The line out was running the amp at full volume which was both too loud and distorted. Now I have full control over the input source and the amplifier volume.

[256 MB] This DAC does make a difference. The sound is more clear, clean, and present. I have this hooked up to the AudioEngine 2+ speakers, which have their volume control on the back. With this DAC, it's great to have the volume knob on the front. However, I lose onscreen feedback, and cannot use the keyboard. The volume knob has no marks on it, either. One reviewer said that he used a Sharpie to place a mark on it. For now, I don't want to mark it at all, so I'm learning how essentially fly blind. This is not ideal. When I first began using it, I could hardly hear it at all. One reviewer made a good suggestion that I have followed. Turn the volume knob of the speaker almost all the way up, and turn the DAC volume all the way down. This way, just a little movement of the DAC knob gives you better control, and you don't have to move it very far. Of course, it's also nice to have the headphone jack on the front. So nice not having to hunt in the back of my iMac. It's also nice that the speakers automatically turn off when you plug in your headphones. The body of the DAC is very lightweight. You will probably find that it swims around if you have it on a smooth surface. Quirks aside, it definitely works, and it has greatly enhanced my listening experience.
