[5 V] This speakerphone is very clear on both ends. Was able to hear the other person speaking clearly even when my portable air conditioner was running in the room.

[C-Wire] Easy to use! Controls air conditioner and furnace. Reads humidity levels. Maintenance tracking and reminders.

[Hardwired] My wall fluctuates between 126-128V. I have a power conditioner downstream of this voltage regulator to monitor if the power is being optimized and brought closer to 120V. This unit does exactly that! I now have piece of mind that my gear will be safely powered in my home studio. I bought one for my live rig as well since you never know how good the power is at a venue.

[0.45 lb] I recently purchased this unit from B&H after having some older 35 mm equipment damaged by mold / fungus on the glass lens elements. The Sirui unit is pretty well-made. Caveat: I did have the first unit arrive with serious damage as a result of poor manufacturer packaging, but B&H handled the replacement within 24 hours. Several people have asked about how the water drains from the unit. Well, it is not like an air conditioner or de-humidifier; the unit is only removing a fraction of an ounce of water from the air volume inside the humidity control cabinet to control the RH. It only has to perform this action once after you open and close the door, and then periodically if any moist air should enter the case. Also, it is not a traditional de-humidifier, but rather some sort of light activated catalytic moisture absorbing reaction (see Sirui website for details). So far the unit works as intended. The settings are holding the RH within the stated range of +/- 5%, and once you determine the offset, it holds very steady at the set point. The cabinet has a nice handle and sturdy lock, which is not bugler proof, but is a nice security feature to at least keep the door closed and family out. The energy consumption should be about $0.25 a month based upon the specs I read. I keep (2) large format lenses, (2) medium format bodies, (2) rangefinder bodies, about (12) various lenses, plus meters and speed lights in the HC-110. A smaller collection could easily fit into one of the smaller Sirui cabinets, IMHO, B&H should be selling a lot more of these units. It is a small percentage of the cost of all of my gear, and I feel better about knowing it is stored properly when not in use.

[8] Installed low on the wall behind a cabinet, which is anything but ideal. Have a great signal in the room and outside which has to go through drywall, insulation, plywood and stucco. Very happy with the results. Running connections at 2.4 and 5.

[PVC] I mounted a Sony A7C on a wall 10 feet in the air behind a drum kit. No way to hit return in the middle of a concert with a band on stage. This did the trick. It reaches probably 30 feet or more with direct line of sight.
