[Handle] Most of my filming/ picture taking happens in very dusty conditions in Africa. This is for sure the best protection one can get. Waterproof, dust proof, it has it all. I can just throw it in the back of a pick up truck or small plane and travel through or over the african bush without having to worry a single moment about my gear thats safely stored inside the Peli Storm case. I own another brand of 10x42 Fog proof, Waterproof binoculars that sell for nearly 20 times more than these Celestron Nature DX bins. These bins are also Fog proof & Waterproof. Very compact, clear and focus much closer than the more expensive pair. This is the second pair of Celestron binoculars and see no reason to ever purchase any other brand. Celestron delivers nearly indistinguishable quality as the designer brands for a fraction of the price.

[Black] A lot of cushioning for the lens. It isn't going to make things drop proof or anything along those lines, but for basic decrease in dust and bump proofing, they're fantastic. As another reviewer put it, great for going into the bag. I also feel better putting a wide angle in the backpack on the off chance I feel like some landscape work when out with the super tele- this allows the lens to ride along without the need for serious risk taking or a dedicated pouch.

This will make a perfect companion for those that require a huge amount of storage space but need to be portable and fast. [90%] I use this paper for making proof sheets of digital photographs for the art gallery I am a member of. The proof sheets are placed in plastic sheet protectors which are in a binder on a pedestal under our wall mounted large screen digital display unit. Visitors to our gallery can watch the digital display and when they want more information about a specific photographer they can flip through the binder to come across that photographers Artist Statement and proof sheet page. This paper looks great and is cost effective.
