[0.095 lb] This is an essential edition to the URSA CHEST.

[Aluminum] Exactly what I needed for lighting up backstage rack drawers. Just as described.

[Proprietary] At first, I was afraid of the plastic construction, but it does seem to be sturdy and well made. It has a wide opening, enough for an iPhone 11 plus in an otter case. Well recommended.

[APS-C] Its tiny size makes this lens special. A Z 50 with the 16-50 mounted on it is about the size of a small SLR body with NO LENS WHATSOEVER (see photo). Some people are disappointed by the plastic lens mount, but Roger Cicala of lensrentals dot com has written that plastic vs metal seems to make no difference reliability-wise. That's good enough for me. Mine has good wide-open sharpness at all focal lengths. Which is nice, because THE negative of this lens is that it gets slow fast as you zoom from 16mm to 50mm. You'll be shooting it wide-open a lot.

This can hold one wide water bottle or two one-time plastic bottles. It fits great on my belt.

[4 x 4 x 0.6"] Lee adapter rings seem to come in three varieties. A)Some sort of odd plastic which has been milled by a blind man and won't fit. B)Metal (aluminum?) but not wide angle. This appears to be rings over a certain size which leave the plastic ones too thin to be sturdy. C)Wide angle which are all metal and, with one caveat, are the ones to buy and use. The only problem with the wide angle is that they won't accept a clip-on lens cap of the same size as A & B do. For instance, I had a 77mm metal, non-wide angle ring which (together with the filter holder and wide-angle shade) vignetted shorter than about 50mm on my 24-105 zoom; the 77mm wide angle ring shows no vignetting till about 30mm. So why use, other than to save a little money, anything but wide angle rings and risk more vignetting and a ring that won't fit other Lee attachments?

[Full-Frame] Originally wanted the 28mm Elmarit, but My Leica dealer didn't have it, but did have the Summicron. Bought it 10yrs ago for around $3000. At the time it was the fastest 28mm Leica made. That was very important to me because at the time I loved shooting wide. This lens is very sharp. Due to it being a 28mm wide, I can easily hold this lens steady under 1/30 shutter speed with excellent results. Of course this is really an advantage of all wide angle focal lengths. I really love this lens and how sharp it is, and it very much has that Leica look. Do note that this lens with the hood blocks the corner of the viewfinder. This does not bother me, but I typically shot this lens without the hood. I have the older version with the plastic hood. In some ways I prefer Leica plastic hoods over the new metal one. But the new ones are much nicer to look at and feel much better.

[Zipper] I like to carry my Pocket 2 gimbal camera in its original plastic case with the wide angle lens, the lightning adapter and the USB-C adapter. To keep the gimbal camera from accidentally falling out of its plastic case I place the plastic case in this neoprene case. Perfect fit! And I can slip my belt thru the belt loop for a secure waist carry and peace of mind, yet easy to quickly take out for unexpected video or photo opportunities. Neat!

[3.24 lb] The metal chains work so much better than the plastic ones especially on 12ft wide rolls of paper with the added weight.
