Wifi Control Switch

[AM5] Has everything I need. Both WiFi and Bluetooth and all the control I would ever need over my AMD chip.

[DHCP Snooping] Bought this to attach to a 6E extender intending to consolidate entertainment center device wifi. Don't need the 10g or 2.5g ports right now, but wanted something to future proof my setup. Plugged in TV, Streaming Cable Box, HD DVD player, and Sound Bar. Now cable channels come in much faster and overall range for all wifi is great. Primarily looking for switch that I didn't have to constantly reboot to keep online. Other brands are horrible that way, but not QNAP! Love this switch!!!

I needed a fanless ethernet switch with PoE+ for cameras and WiFi access points. This does the job well. I like that all ports can do PoE and that the unit is small. It comes with mounting screws and even rack mount ears.

[Aluminum] Recently I went on a family trip and the hotel had a poor wifi signal. We were literally switch devices so each of us could get on it. I got this great modem router to use with a business SIM card I had so I will never have that issue again. Thanks Netgear.

[30 W] Bought a 3 pack of these plus the UniFi PoE switch for a home renovation. The primary reason for purchasing -- I was looking for better WiFi coverage on a two floor house, approximately 4000 Sq Ft. I had tried one of the mesh products that included a router with 2 remote units that was not much better than the Xfinity cable modem/WiFi. I also wanted something that could handle multiple clients and not have a huge reduction in bandwidth performance. I had pre-wired the locations during the renovation with Cat 5e cable. After termination of the cables, installation was quick and simple. I am using the UniFi software on a PC to aid in the management of the system and the software works very well; provides a client WiFi experience with a percentage value that will be helpful when teenagers complain about internet being slow, etc... The 5Ghz radio is automatically named based on the SSID selected. The 2.4Ghz radio is the name of SSDI plus _IoT. The most impressive the part of the product/installation is the consistent coverage, especially with the 5Ghz radio. I checked 8 locations on two floors plus an outdoor covered porch and the bandwidth tests are nearly equal with in 1 mbps difference on a 120Mbps circuit for both upload and download tests. Price is a little more than a mesh system or high performance router, but I think it will pay off in the long run especially with the diagnostic ability provided with the UniFi software. Bandwidth tests were done with iPhone using the Ookla Speedtest app. I am including few photos with 2 of the 8 tests plus the three access points mounted and the area in garage where the cable modem, PoE switch plus another switch that is connecting wired jack locations. I would purchase again.

[512 MB] The Ubiquiti / Unifi 48-Port Gbps PoE managed switch is so easy to install, even cavemen say its easy! No serious networking skills required to install. Just have a basic knowledge of network fundamentals, know where your feed is from your broadband modem/router is, plug it in and hang your devices from it. This is even better if you have Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC PRO (PoE) 802.11ac Scalable Enterprise Wi-Fi Access Points wired to the switch so you can easily manage your wifi access points. The 48-Port Gb PoE switch is managed by downloading the Unifi Network Server software which by plugging-in your laptop's ethernet port to a port on switch and then running the software lets you adopt the managed switch, then adopt the access points (AP), assign them wifi names and select which AP gets all or specific wifi access which you can control guest and private access points. Ubiquiti has a long history of producing GREAT products and online support videos and tutorials for everyone to follow and figure out in minutes/hours based on your knowledge and skills. GET THIS SWITCH for current and future networking needs!

[SSID] Working from home our Wifi out on our deck was always spotty and very slow. I got this and a POE outdoor switch to ethernet back to my router inside. The only thing I regret is not doing this sooner. We now can stream 4K movies outside. Oh yeah and we can work too.

[3.77 lb] I thought it was dead on arrival until I educated myself on PoE standards. I had 24V pass thru switch and this needs a 48V switch. I upgraded and once connected, it was adopted and configured in 30m including: upgrade, configuring networks, configuring WiFi channels. I probably don’t need a WAP such as this, but it is nice to potentially future proof my house if WiFi 7 becomes a thing.
