Wireless Ap Router

[2.11 lb] I originally had an Netgear Orbi mesh router, however it was slow as molasses. Once upgraded to the access point, my speeds tripled. Needed an AP due to the firewall configuration. One bit of advice, don't buy this stuff on Amazon. They sold a used AP that was still linked to another account. Won't be doing that again.

[Yes, Kensington] I bought this to finally replace my Fios router and integrate to my other Ubiquiti AP's. Installation was easy and intuitive. It's really nice to have the integrated controller and see every device and all of the details so easily. When I only had Ubiquiti AP's the information available was limited so I highly recommend this item. Wish there had been a Wifi6 version available, unfortunately the Dream Router is bandwidth limited (can't take advantage of 1 gb internet speed) and the Express is device limited (# of AP's possible).

[8] I bought 1 for each of my 4 bedrooms expecting to cover the basement, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of my 23' wide rowhome with a hope to get signal in the garage. When setting them up, the first AP that i plugged into the router in the back of the basment gave great signal to the bedroom on the 3rd floor at the front of the house. I was thinking that i may need another AP or even an outdoor AP to get good coverage in my yard and detatched garage, but i am getting excellent signal stregth all over from the 4 AP's. These fit perfectly in place of my ethernet wallplates, you can turn off the annoying LED light for a bedroom placement, and the 3 extra ports are a great way for my to keep some devices still hard wired. In each of the rooms. I used an omada hardware controller, vpn router, and poe switch with these and the devices all work great together. This all might be twice as much as a 3 AP consumer grade mesh wifi, but is considerably better than the eero system that i was using.

[256 MB] Another great AP from Ubiquiti. I paired this via PoE with the Unifi Dream Router, and it works perfectly. Great coverage and speed. I use this downstairs and my UDR upstairs to cover about 2800 sq. feet of house effortlessly.

[Internal] Thanks to this router, I no longer need to use the power brick for my AC-Lite Ubiquiti AP. This router can support PoE on any of the copper ports. Thankfully, my AP only needs 24v. I took advantage of the vlan and and firewall features to segregate my networks. You won't go wrong with this router. However, I will caution you that the this router was designed for an audience with a rudimentary understanding of network.

[13.5 W] I just installed this in AP mode cause I have a verizon router I can't get rid of. I was surprised at how easy it was to install. The coverage is better than the older 3 device mesh system I had from Samsung. the app is pretty straightforward and clean. it can handle speeds higher than I have from verizon. so far I am very pleased with my purchase.

[Yes] After upgrading from a mesh of MR2200AC to the 6600AX used as an Access Point, I kept using the 2200AC's for the mesh and decided to upgrade. This one is about twice as fast, the difference is noticeable. What's very nice with Synology routers, is that a lot of their security and parental control features keep functioning when used as an AP rather than in router mode. They are good routers but I have been using a Firewalla Gold router for about a year which is much better while the Synology's make awesome wifi AP's for the Firewalla router.

[256 MB] Very Good Wireless Router it performs very well and has an exceptional range .

[1x 3-Prong] Plug requires Unifi wireless AP, once adopted setup is easy, only a few options to setup, Unfi OS takes it from there. Handy if ISP modem or other device is far away. Unfi can reset modem automatically when it detects high latency, or user can cycle plug manually by from within Unfi device list

[Auto-MDIX/MDI] The U6 LR is preforming (wireless experience) better than the UAP AP Pro I was using. WIFI MAN testing (same settings) roaming, signal. throughput, and latency all appear better with the U6. After configuration to channel band width 180 their was higher connection speeds, lower latency, and better signal strength at the same client locations I tested. I would recommend switching to WIFI 6 if some of your devices support it. Upgrading to WIFI 6 may not be for you if you are not actively upgrading clients and/or AP's. I would strongly consider WIFI 6 for new install. Site 1800sq feet single fam dwelling, one story, 3 bed, 2 bath. Well covered indoor by 1 U6. 8 clients 2.4, 5, 6 balanced WIFI band steering.
