[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very powerful 4K two camera security system that picks up trespassers and animals whether day or night! It just needs about 2 hours of sunlight for solar charging to last the whole day. The 16gb internal memory is more than enough for storage. You do not need to pay for any subscription to use this nifty little sophisticated security system. Integrates with both Google and Alexa for two way audio. Overall you just need to get this for your home and personal security!!!

[NAS] This is one of two cameras I purchased for a simple security system for my home. Hik-Vision products were recommended to me by friends with experience in real-world security. Purchasing the system from B&H was a breeze, given the level of expert advice I received from their customer service reps. This camera covers our front driveway and approach to our front door. Installation was easy after watching videos on the Hik-Vision website and You-tube. I mounted it to a 1/2 thick Starboard disk I made, to cushion the camera from my stucco eaves. It provides outstanding picture quality day and night. I appreciate the color images at night. I have not yet figured out the use of the built-in speaker/mic, nor all the parameters for receiving notifications of moving objects.

[Yes] These cameras are the best - easy to set up, great videos both day and night and....bears have not tried to eat even one of the 10 or so we have...I would say this is the best camera around for catching wildlife videos.

[4 lb] Currently I have 4 of the older models (DS-2DE3304W-DE), and this newer one is much better than those. Besides the slightly higher 4mp over the old 3mp, the night vision is far superior. I always use Color at night on all the cameras, and use Slow Shutter to lighten the scene, and I was surprised at how bright the Auto Slow Shutter was on this new model - it's perfect for my needs. I put it on a Scheduled Switch, Outdoors during the daytime with tweaked Image Adjustments (no slow shutter), and at night I have the Day/Night switch on Day, Indoors, with tweaks to the image along with the Auto Slow Shutter 2. Another nice surprise was my 2017 iMac on Monterey using Firefox v103 was able to see the picture/video in the browser without installing any addons or web components (which don't work on the older models for Safari or Firefox, but do on Internet Explorer when using Parallels Desktop with Windows 10). The firmware which came with my new 3404 is V5.7.2 build 211009. I'd love to replace all my older cameras with this one but that's a big chunk of change (lol). Anyway, none of my cameras are outside, they're all sitting on the windowsill looking through glass, so for folks who install outdoors will probably have even better results than me.

[55 dB] I'm replacing all my PTZOptics cameras with Marshall Electronics. The video quality is night and day. While PTZOptics was a great solution for the time Marshall swooped in with these great cameras.

[Yes] Night becomes day compared to older infrared cameras at our property. This is the second ColorVu Hikvision I've purchased and the improvement is night and day better. Seriously.
