[4] This is an inexpensive, simple yet elegant solution to connecting two PCs to a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse. And by combining the keyboard and mouse cables into one USB connection, you gain a USB connection on your PCs. Just a push of the button and you switch from one to the other. It's that simple. One PC is Windows XP, the other is Windows 7. The first time connecting I needed to unplug and replug the keyboard and mouse to get the PC to see them, but only the first time. Now I just push the button. Simple yet elegant.

[1200] I got this keyboard because I have two laptops and I wanted to be able to jump between them easily. It's very easy on the keyboard, just push a button that correlates to the laptop. The mouse only has one button so you have to do multiple pushes, but cry me a river, right? It would be nice if I could synch the keyboard and mouse so they change together, though there have been times when I just wanted the mouse on one machine, so there you go. What I wasn't expecting is that they keyboard is just so nice to use. It's very comfortable and feels much better the junky keyboard I have at work. Long story short, one of the better purchases I've made for my home office.

[32 °F] My work (Windows) laptop is typically docked and connected to two 22" monitors, one VGA connection and one DVI connection. I have a Mac Mini as well, using the DVI input on second monitor (with HDMI to DVI converter). Was previously using wireless mouse and USB mechanical keyboard for the laptop, and a wireless keyboard/mouse for the Mac, switching inputs via the monitor menu. Too much clutter. Finally bought the KVM switch; should have done it years ago. Now I have just the wireless mouse, USB mechanical keyboard, and an easy push-button swap between Mac and work laptop. My only minor complaint is the 3-second lag when switching. First world problems. Graphics are fine for me, but I'm not pushing anything graphics-intensive on either machine. Overall, a wonderful addition to the home office to reduce clutter and make toggling between work and wasting time during work hours much easier.

[6.83 lb] Could not be easier to set up right out of the box, and it works great: I have my monitor, wireless keyboard, and wireless mouse set to switch between two computers with just the click of a button.
