I finally tested it on an actual interview recording. The sound quality is great. The transmitter and received connect quickly to one another. The device is easy to use. I used the lavalier microphone while recording, outside by the ocean. I am very excited to use this product for this series I am working on. [Yes] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera packs a punch in its compact size. I use this camera practically every day. My YouTube videos and vlogs are now so much better than before. I use it to shoot my product reviews, dream interpretations, and recipes. I get regular comments about the high quality and questions about what camera I use. I cannot wait to tell them it is the Sony ZV-1 and tell them all about it! The wind guard on the microphone is a special touch I like. Prior to this purchase, I filmed an outdoor video on a slightly breezy day. I was appalled at the quality of that recording sound due to the wind. But with the ZV-1 that is never an issue! One of the things that drew me to the ZV-1 is the flip-out vari-angle video screen. I wanted a quality camera that I could see the screen on while I am recording. There is nothing worse than recording a video and thinking you are in the frame only to realize you are not. This eliminates that issue all together. It has ports for an external microphone, HDMI, and a micro USB. This allows for a ton of versatility. You can use a micro USB cord to charge the camera or you can buy an optional battery charger. I even bought a couple of backup batteries to keep the footage flowing even on lengthy trips. I paired the ZV-1 with the shooting grip and I will never go back. This baby is super versatile. It lets me click record, snap a picture, zoom in, and more all while keeping the focus on me and not turning the camera around. This allows complete one-handed usage. In addition, it makes a great little on the go tripod too. All of this fits into a small case making it ultra-portable. I love my ZV-1!

[Off/On Switch] The Hollyland LARK MAX Duo 2-person wireless microphone system has been a great addition to my recording equipment. Not only are they super easy to use, but also sport great sound quality and pick up!  With the USB-C to USB-C, I am able to directly connect these mics to my computer for simple and easy viewing and editing of my recorded sound clips. There is also a USB-C to Lightening cable, which allows me to use the microphones as my audio pick up when recording on my iPhone. Which is super cool!!  There is a TRS to TRS microphone cable which connects into the camera. And with the back clip, these little mics slip nicely into the hot shoe or cold shoe of the camera.  There is also an additional USB-C to USB cable if that kind of connection is needed. The manual explains well how to pair the mics and use the different settings.  The sealed case is very nice and compact (see photos below).  The wind shields work well, but beyond that the noise canceling option does a nice job of cutting out those background noises you don't want while recording. In the photos below one can see the mic system as well as how easy it is to attach them onto one's camera or person for recording. Overall this is an excellent microphone system, and I'm looking forward to using it more in my recordings.

[0.22 lb] I was looking for some kind of adapter for my SonyA7711 camera to be able to go live with my phone, still use my hotshoe microphone while recording the same event for editing and uploading too different social media platforms. Well this is the bombdiggity! Lol. No longer using 2 different tripods or needing anyones help. I can do it all by myself now.
