Wireless N Cable Modem Router

[802.11ax] I recently had my internet provider to increase my speed (from 150mbps download to 330mbps). It turned out that my old Wi-Fi card that I had on my PC couldn't quite handle the speed even though it was rated that it can. I bought this card out of curiosity just to see if it was the PC that was causing the bottleneck and not the card. Once I installed it, the download transfer rate just about doubled compared to the old card. In fact, the speed is about the same I'm getting if I had the network cable connected directly from the modem to the PC Ethernet port itself. Anyway, I would advise anyone to first check their wireless router or wireless modem/router to see what Wi-Fi standard it uses. If you still using an old modem/router, this card will only go as fast as that set up allows it to.

[4] The router is easy to set up and link to internet modem. Wireless logon from computers, laptops, phones and even tvs is quick and painless.

[256 MB ] I am delighted with this purchase. The router was incredibly fast to set up. I was replacing my old router hooked to my cable modem and it was literally just a matter of changing out the cables, shutting off the modem and then booting things back up. The provided instructions are quite quick and easy to follow. The router is much faster than my previous one, especially several rooms away.

[256 MB] I wanted an inexpensive non-WiFi router to terminate my cable modem's Internet output. This is a nicely-constructed, small device that is working great for me. Initially, I had a problem with the router establishing a connection with my Internet provider's network, but TP-Link's support was immediately available and was very good in helping me resolve it.

[120 VAC, 60 Hz] It's nice to have 1 system to run internet instead of separate cable modem and router. Setup was easy to follow, and app assisted in the process.

[IPV6] We were looking to buy our own cable modem to eliminate the monthly rental fee. We needed one that would handle the 1.2 GPBS service and have a landline phone connection. This was listed on the Xfinity site as being compatible and meeting our requirements. It was simple to swap out our old modem/router and replace it with this and a separate router. The instructions were easy to follow and everything was up and running in a relatively short time. So far, we're very happy with the speed and reliability.

[Yes] I was having terrible issues with my previous cable modem/router combo and switched to the CM1000v2. I also incorporated a mesh system and am totally pleased with the performance!

[Yes] If you’re looking for the fastest cable modem/router available, buy this one. In addition, the coverage throughout the house is excellent. It makes my old modem/router feel like dial up internet. Seriously, don’t hesitate. This is the best option for an all-in-one cable/modem WiFi router.
