Wireless Router In Networking

[Wall, Ceiling] Fantastic wifi router, with a very sophisticated firewall built in, and pro level networking configuration capabilities. Provides an easy entry to the Unifi system - probably an overkill if you don't need multiple access points or fine-grained control over your network. But if you do, it's a great solution.

[USB-A (2.0)] I built a desktop for my elderly father with no ability to have wired networking. I was a little skeptical about using a wireless adapter rather than built into the motherboard. It couldn't have been easier. A new fresh OS install of Windows 10 recognized the card immediately during the setup process before the OS was even fully installed. Great reception signal strength as well.

[22 to 26 dBm] The thing about Ubiquiti Wireless networking is that it works - out of the box! As a rule, it grabs all the right info - and of course lets you tweak if you need to. I've set up a bunch of these (residential and commercial locations) and I just don't have anything to complain about! HIGHLY recommended!! If you can, get the Dream Router and build a system from there - it is worth every bit of the cost!
