Wireless Router Rental

[IPV6] We were looking to buy our own cable modem to eliminate the monthly rental fee. We needed one that would handle the 1.2 GPBS service and have a landline phone connection. This was listed on the Xfinity site as being compatible and meeting our requirements. It was simple to swap out our old modem/router and replace it with this and a separate router. The instructions were easy to follow and everything was up and running in a relatively short time. So far, we're very happy with the speed and reliability.

[90%] I bought this router to save money on router rental fees and it turned out to give a decent flex of getting connected with just my router mac at least on spectrum.

[D-Tap] As a rental house in Miami, i was tired of sending back to repair on camera monitors, wireless follow focus systems, wireless video tx, etc.. I �bought 4 safetaps to "test" ..used them on my Teradek systems and they dont broke no more... After that experience , I order 14 more safetap and now they are the default D-Tap connector at my shop. They look a little expensive but I spent the same amount of money of one tap "just in shipping charges" when sent some equip to repair. All the Ac's really love them. Highly RECOMMENDED. [Internal] I work at a 6-floor apartment/vacation rental facility. We have wireless access points at either end of each floor (12 total). This was our first upgrade in years and has greatly boosted speed everywhere.

[LCD] This router works well with other Ubiquity Unifi devices including managed switches, wireless access points and network extenders. This router is fast. The self hosted server app works well on a Windows 10 pc. What isn't clear from the product description or BHP tech support is that the 2.5 GB ports adapt to 1 GB connections and that this router can replace an older Ubiquity UniFi router by plug and play. All that is needed, is to replace the new router on the gateway connection and adopt the device. Once you adopt the new router you get a message saying you can't have 2 gateways. Then just go and forget/remove the old gateway router from the app and re-adopt the new gateway router. Give it a bit of time and all the settings will be automatically applied to the new router. I have a xfinity cable modem, UniFi gateway router, 2 UniFi 8 port managed switched, 1 UniFi WAP, 2 UniFi Beacon wireless network extenders and about 50 network devices managed with a fixed ip setup. My only complaint is that nobody at BHP or Ubiquity could give me a straight answer on upgrading the router.

[1 Gb/s] I needed internet access in an old building next to my house. It is too far away from my house to be supported by my wireless router. However, it does share electrical wiring with my house. Running new Cat5 cables was not a good solutions for a variety of reasons so I decided to try TP-Link's AV100 Gigabit Powerline Starter kit. The setup was very easy, basically plug and play. The price was very affordable. While not as fast as a direct connection, it still meets my needs.
