Xerox Duplex Color Laser Printer

[Standard] My HP M452 color duplex laser printer developed ugly vertical black bands on all prints. Nothing I tried would eliminate this problem. Finally, I decided to replace the OEM black cartridge with a genuine HP branded cartridge and the problem went away. Live and learn...

[Laser Printers] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Xerox C325 is robust and suited well for a very busy home office or a small business. Xerox describes it as a machine ideal for work groups of 2-7 needing a color laser all-in-one printer. If prints up to 35 pages per minute and will also copy, scan and fax, seamlessly integrates into your home and office using WiFi. Other features include automatic two-sided printing, built-in security, and Xerox apps. It is large with a simple interface for everyday printing. I found it really convenient for larger projects related to both my hobbies and small business. I used it for personal zines (high quantity, printing on transparency film, color or b/w, double sided) and also make handouts and materials for working with teens and families (high quantity, double sided). The color output on cardstock was bold and crisp. Working with the printer reminded me of the self-service copy machines at office stores. Very easy to use with an intuitive interface. Setup was also easy. There is a main tray and a feeder area that can both accommodate many paper sizes, including greeting card sized cardstock. Xerox states sizes A6 SEF (4.1 x 5.8 in) to Legal (8.5 x 14 in). I will be making my own photo cards this coming holiday season. The large tray is nice and holds half a ream of regular paper.

[36.2 lb] This printer is overkill for my printing needs; but, I needed the auto duplex scanner feature to scan many two-sided documents. The printer software is easy to navigate, and the print quality is very good. The manual is weak and should be revised. After only a few printed pages (one color page) the color ink levels have dropped by 20%. I am still waiting for a response from Canon as the support team does not work on weekends and the Live Chat cannot understand a simple question. I switched from HP because while my printer still functioned perfectly. The ink cartridges are causing error codes - HP never again.

[Color] All the features I expected in a color laser printer. It’s an excellent machine and I buy it again in a second.

[Yes] Very happy with this duplex printer. Duplex print is slow, but of very nice quality. I had originally thought I might upgrade later to color laser, but for my purposes, this is much less expensive and very nice. I have not had any jams so far, and have printed over 100+ pages. Feed from the back with card stock has worked well, and self aligns.
