[1] Stereo 3.5mm TRS in, balanced mono XLR out. Perfect for my purposes and passive, so no bulky power supply required. Just does what it says it will.

[6' / 1.8 m] You need this product if you do a lot with Laptop audio or audio from cell phones. 1'8 TRS to Balanced XLR with ground lift and volume control. This device has replaced my DI's.

[24-Bit] The RM82 is used for our stadium PA system. The RM82 gives us the choice of using either the XLR or 1/4 TRS inputs.

[0.3 lb] Clean signal for balanced use, (TRS), tough cable jacket with metal plugs. These are great for patch bay connections.

[5.75 lb] If you're using with a Mixer make sure to have 1/4 TRS to XLR male & female, 1 each We use this to broadcast audio from Conference Bridges for meetings and conventions. It works very well and is easy to setup.

[6' / 1.8 m] The Mogami Gold 3.5mm TRS Male to Dual XLR Male Y-Cable is a super high quality cable that sounds great and should last many years. It also carries a lifetime warranty. Cables are getting to ridiculous prices just like all audio equipment, but B&H always has the best prices.

[Plywood] I've had a pair of these for a few years now. They work very well as stage monitors. I use mine primarily as a monitor for my keyboards when performing. There is a multi-position switch that changes the EQ depending on the listening mode, but I usually leave it in Stage Monitor mode. Inputs are combination XLR / 1/4 TRS jacks. However, the daisy-chain connection to another monitor is XLR only - not 1/4 TRS, which is a pain in the neck sometimes. And the volume setting on the first monitor determines the maximum volume setting on any daisy-chained monitors. Overall, a very rugged monitor that has been dropped a few times and taken its share of abuse, but has never failed me. And it's a lot smaller and lighter than comparable stage wedges. To make sure I never lose the power cord, I have caribiners on the handle and the AC cord that I just snap together when transporting it. B&H occasionally has sales on these and also bundles (stand and XLR cable) - jump on those sales when available!

[1 Instance] I bought two others before deciding on the Mixpre-3ii, and then decided I needed the Mixpre-6ii for more inputs. It is perfect for my varied needs. I like that all of the inputs are very useful connectors. XLR, 1/4 TRS, and possibly most appreciated is the 3.5mm TRS jack. Most of the other recorders don't have this, but because the impedance on the 3.5mm TRS input is very high 100k, it is useful for recording from lots of sources. Unlike the Mixpre-3ii, the Mixpre-6ii can record all the XLR inputs as tracks as well as the 3.5mm TRS input for total of 6 isolated tracks, plus the mixed left and right tracks for a total of 8. There are no extra SDI jacks or older studio style/professional jacks. I use timecode generation and camera start/stop via hdmi on my Sony's, but you can also do it via the 3.5mm TRS output. The size and form factor are right. It fits perfectly into my K-Tek Stingray bag, and also fits and feels right connecting to my rig. I chose this over the competitor becaue I wanted quality over quantity, but have come to appreciate it as one of those devices which is just right. It has everything I need and nothing extra. The only thing that could be improved is the battery tray option$.
