Xtreme Tech Lightning Hdmi Adapter Cable Review

[Adapter] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pluggable USB-C to HDMI adapter has been very handy in my tech needs. It’s super easy to use and allows me to connect my laptop and modem very easily. The resolution is very clear and I love how small and portable this adapter is. 

[0.045 lb] This is a very simple review. Without this right angle adapter plugging my HDMI cable into the back of my wall mounted flat panel tv would be difficult if not impossible. I connected the HDMI cable to it. I plugged it into the TV. It worked. End of discussion.

[Genlock] Just plugged it into the lightning connector of my iPad, with an HDMI cable it connected instantly to a projector. Seemed a bit pricey but Apple connectivity, quality, and guaranteed compatibility is worth it. A great travel accessory for connecting to hotel TVs.

[Passive] This adapter transforms micro your micro USB cable into a much sturdier than Apple's original Lightning cable. It snaps on tightly, charges and transfers data well, works for both iPhone and iPad.

[0.06 lb] This is an adapter, NOT a cable. That said, as an adapter it does it's job well. I have used it to plug my iPhone (Lightning) into my PC (both USB-C and USB-A) to transfer files and it worked without a hitch. Useful as an adapter, but not long enough to be called a cable by any means.

[10 to 80% ()] It's always better to have single cable, than to use an adapter and a cable. This one does the job of connecting a DisplayPort to HDMI device.

[15.2 in] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure: I was sent this product to review it. Honestly, it works great for its intended purpose. I was able to charge my phone and connect Lightning headphones at the same time. I didn't notice any difference in sound quality between plugging the headphones into this product or plugging them straight into my iPhone. They also work perfectly with the 3.5 mm to Lightning adapter provided by Apple with my phone. The RockStar feels sturdy and uses Apple's signature look well. If it weren't for the Belkin logo on the Lightning plug, this could easily have been mistaken for something made by Apple. It also couldn't be simpler to use. Plug it into the iPhone and plug your headphones and power cord into either available port. There are only two things I could think of to make this product better. First would have been to have one port be a 3.5 mm jack. I only have the one pair of lightning headphones Apple provided and the adapter. I have a pile of old headphones though. My second thought would have been, if you have two Lightning ports on the adapter, let it be used to plug in two sets of headphones to act as a splitter. This may be a limitation set by Apple and not the product itself, but it would add a level of use to the RockStar. If you use Lightning headphones or 3.5 mm headphones with a Lightning adapter, this is a great product to be able to listen to music while you charge your phone. Personally, I use Bluetooth about 99.9% of the time, but I'm glad I have this product for those times I can't.

[Bus Powered] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are in need of a fast acting Ethernet adapter look no farther. With lightning speed this connector will guarantee a great viewing experience when on your laptop. Light weight and easy to set up this is a must have.

[0.22 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My review for our new Belkin - BoostCharge USB-C Cable with Lightning connector, Braided Silicone, 2 meter, with strap + Magnet is as follows....appears to be very sturdy so far and I highly doubt it will tear or fray anytime soon in the future. Plus the magnet is a nice touch.

[Black] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The USB-A Cable with Lightning Connector is a great charging cable to use in my car. The cord is flexible but very durable. I don't have to worry about the cord fraying or twisting and splitting like many of my other cords. I know it will last a long time. It's the perfect length to use in my car and put my phone in a window dock. The silicone has a really nice feel. You just can tell it's of a good material. It does not get kinks or become tangled.
